Health • All medications require prior review approval, completed paperwork & doctor prescription. • Sunshine House staff are not trained medical professionals and cannot manage all conditions. • Children who become ill during the day are to be picked up within 30 minutes • Volunteers must provide negative TB test and proof of specific immunizations. Photo & Video Release • Permission granted for photos and videos to be used for school purposes (promotions, training, publicity) with xxxxx's last name omitted. • Parents may take photos at school events outside of Sunshine House control. Closures. City reserves the right to temporarily close the airport or any of the facilities thereon for maintenance, improvement or for the safety of the public.
Closures. In the event that the Employer closes any branch or satellite operation the parties shall immediately meet and discuss the situation. The employees concerned shall be permitted to return to their previous location with the seniority date they held at that previous location. All matters concerning employees affected by the closure shall become the subject of these discussions.

Closures. 3.2 Should a closure be mandated by a board of education (e.g. for repairs and maintenance), the centre will advise families of any changes and options for alternate care as soon as possible.

Landlord has the right, but not the obligation, in its sole and absolute discretion to temporarily close the Building or access to portions thereof, including any Common Area and the Premises, if there is any act or threat of any act of terrorism, war, violence, vandalism, civil unrest, riot or other event that may pose a threat to the public safety or damage to the Building, including any advisory warning or notice from the Office of Homeland Security or any other federal, state or local governmental or enforcement agency (herein referred to as an event of “Civil Unrest”). Tenant agrees to comply with any notice from Landlord or any governmental agency to close the Building or portions thereof and to immediately cause all of its employees, agents, contractors and invitees to vacate the Building. Landlord will not be responsible for any loss or damage to Tenant’s business as a result, and Tenant will not be entitled to any abatement in rent or other relief of its obligations under this Lease for any period of time when Tenant may not have access to the Premises or Building due to any Civil Unrest.

The HUB takes part in board approved professional development and team building days of which ample notice is given. Christmas Holiday closures will be given with appropriate notice. The HUB Child Care Centres observe the following stat days: New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday (Professional Development day), Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas & Boxing Day. Caregivers, as they are self-employed, may use their discretion regarding providing care on these days. If care is needed by parents for the “stat”, the parent must negotiate their need with their caregiver two weeks in advance. Inclement Weather When school buses in Xxxxxx Xxxxxx County are cancelled HUB Child Care Centres operate. When schools in Xxxxxx Xxxxxx County are closed HUB programs will not operate, excluding The HUB Child Care Program. Caregivers have a choice to close their business and will communicate with parents as far in advance as possible their decision. Parents are not required to pay for days that their location is closed. Sick Children The Child Care and Early Years Act 2014 (CCEYA) and the Public Health Department require that you submit an up-to-date immunization record for all children who have not yet entered the school system. Please do not bring your child to the caregiver’s home if they are ill. To protect all children in care, your caregiver cannot accept a child with symptoms such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or an undiagnosed rash. You may need to schedule a medical appointment to identify if and when your child is able to attend. If you do not agree with the caregiver, please contact the Home Child Care (HCC) Manager/Visitor. If a child becomes ill during the day, the caregiver will isolate the child away from others and provide temporary care until the parent arrives to take the child home. Please ensure that emergency contact information and numbers are kept current. Symptoms and significant signs of illness must be reported immediately to the caregiver. Children must be free of nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea for 48 hour consecutive hours and free of symptoms with high fever for 24 consecutive hours as a result of illness before returning to the caregiver’s home. Parents are responsible to pay for days a child is absent due to illness, vacation or withdrawal when this notice has not been given...
Closures. Providers/Systems that hold direct contracts with EEC agree to: • Be open and provide services in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in their contracts with EEC. Providers that do not hold direct contracts with EEC agree to: • Provide care year round except for closure periods/days approved by the CCRR. Providers/Systems agree to: • Annually submit to the CCRR for approval a Closure Form. Closures must be in accordance with EEC’s policies and, if applicable, the terms of any direct contract with EEC and the terms of the Family Child Care Collective Bargaining Agreement.
