The Organisation will complete a Safety and Quality Account inclusive of an annual attestation statement as outlined in the Standards (Version 2.0) by the 31 October each year. Clinical Governance a The EAP must have an established Clinical Governance Framework within their organisation, and must be able to demonstrate both the framework, and application of the framework to daily business, if requested by NASO. b The EAP will be a participating member of the ambulance sector’s National Clinical Leadership Group (NCLG)7. c The EAP shall implement policies and procedures directly relating to clinical issues which have been promoted by the NCLG.

The arrangements set out in this Agreement will therefore be subject to existing and future clinical governance obligations.

NSD as the commissioner expects that robust mechanisms will be put in place to support clinical governance. Exception reports to the NHS Tayside clinical governance committee should also be provided to NSD.
