Common use of Climate Change Clause in Contracts

Climate Change. 1.1. Bearing in mind the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Kyoto Protocol, the Parties recognise that climate change is an issue of common and global concern that calls for the widest possible cooperation by all countries and their participation in an effective and appropriate international response, for the benefit of present and future generations of mankind.
