CLIENT AGGRESSION. 44.1 The parties recognise that client aggression is a workplace health and safety issue affecting some public sector workplaces and agree that violence and aggression by clients towards staff is not acceptable. The Government, through Workplace Health and Safety Queensland of the Department of Justice and Attorney-General, will review and update its publications dealing with occupational violence. On completion of this review and within twelve months of certification of this Agreement, Government will consult with public sector unions about implementation of strategies consistent with Workplace Health and Safety Queensland publication to manage the risk, and respond to incidents, of client aggression.

The employer commits to providing personal safety training as follows: Face to face personal safety training will be provided to all employees engaged at Child Safety Service Centres and Youth Justice Service Centres. The employer will extend personal safety training to all other employees through an online module. The personal safety training will focus on strategies to ensure personal safety in the workplace, including planned approaches in particular scenarios and de-escalation of conflict and aggressive behaviour in others.
CLIENT AGGRESSION. 74.1 Violence and aggression against Queensland Health staff is not acceptable and will not be tolerated. It is not an inevitable part of the job.

  • Influenza Vaccination The parties agree that influenza vaccinations may be beneficial for patients and employees. Upon a recommendation pertaining to a facility or a specifically designated area(s) thereof from the Medical Officer of Health or in compliance with applicable provincial legislation, the following rules will apply:

  • Leadwork Differential (a) Leadwork differential shall be defined as a differential for employees who have been formally assigned by their supervisor in writing, “leadwork” duties for ten (10) consecutive calendar days (or the equivalent thereof for alternate or flexible schedules) or longer provided the leadwork or team leader duties are not included in the classification specification for the employee’s position. Leadwork is where, on a recurring daily basis, the employee has been directed to perform substantially all of the following functions: to orient new employees, if appropriate; assign and reassign tasks to accomplish prescribed work efficiently; give direction to workers concerning work procedures; transmit established standards of performance to workers; review work of employees for conformance to standards; and provide informal assessment of workers’ performance to the supervisor.

  • Progression For progression for all classifications under this agreement, refer to Schedules A to D.

  • Screening 3.13.1 Refuse containers located outside the building shall be fully screened from adjacent properties and from streets by means of opaque fencing or masonry walls with suitable landscaping.

  • Supplier Diversity Seller shall comply with Xxxxx’s Supplier Diversity Program in accordance with Appendix V.

  • Curriculum Work Service on a District curriculum committee shall be required for grade level or department chairpersons. All other teachers working on such committee(s) shall be designated (in writing) by the Curriculum Director and shall be paid, at the hourly rate contained in Schedule B, for all documented hours of committee service (up to such limits as may be imposed by the District) occurring when school is not in session (e.g. during the summer), during duty-free lunch periods or preparation periods, and before/after the teacher’s regularly scheduled work day. Curriculum committee work shall occur at such times as are determined or approved by the Curriculum Director.

  • Previous Transgression 4.1 The BIDDER declares that no previous transgression occurred in the last three years immediately before signing of this Integrity Pact, with any other company in any country in respect of any corrupt practices envisaged hereunder or with any Public Sector Enterprise in India or any Government Department in India that could justify XXXXXX’s exclusion from the tender process.

  • Study An application for leave of absence for professional study must be supported by a written statement indicating what study or research is to be undertaken, or, if applicable, what subjects are to be studied and at what institutions.

  • Bilingual Differential When formally assigned in the employee’s position description, an employee assigned to interpret to or from another language to English will receive a differential of five percent (5%) of base pay.

  • Network Congestion Reduced Speed for Routing or Answering 911 Dialing Calls. There may be a greater possibility of network congestion and/or reduced speed in the routing of a 911 Dialing call made utilizing the Service as compared to traditional 911 dialing over traditional public telephone networks.
