Employee Resignation (a) Unless otherwise agreed by the Employer and an Employee, an Employee other than a probationary Employee may resign at any time by giving a minimum of four weeks' written notice to the Employer.
Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.
Control of Joint Accounts Any owner is authorized and deemed to act for any other owner(s) and may instruct us regarding transactions and other account matters. Each owner guarantees the signature or authenticated request of any other owner(s). Any owner may withdraw or transfer funds, pledge to us all or any part of the shares, or stop payment on items without the consent of the other owner(s). Account Termination If you no longer wish to use our Services, or if we terminate your account for any reason, here's what you need to know. You can delete your account at any time by logging into the Website or App, going to "Settings" (the gear/pencil icon in the top right corner), and following the instructions to cancel your membership. We reserve the right to make use of any personal, technological, legal, or other means available to enforce the Terms, at any time without liability and without the obligation to give you prior notice, including, but not limited to, preventing you from accessing the Services. If your account is terminated by you or by PeopleMedia for any reason, these Terms continue and remain enforceable between you and PeopleMedia, and you will not be entitled to any refund for purchases made. Your information will be maintained and deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Personnel Selection Leave 35.6.1 Where an employee participates in a personnel selection process for a position in the Public Service, as defined in the Financial Administration Act, the Council shall grant leave of absence with pay for the period during which the employee's presence is required for purposes of the selection process, and for such further period as the Council considers reasonable for the employee to travel to and from the place where his presence is so required.
