Common use of CLEANING UP Clause in Contracts

CLEANING UP. § 5.11.1 The Design-Builder shall keep the premises and surrounding area free from accumulation of waste materials or rubbish caused by operations under the Contract. At completion of the Work, the Design-Builder shall remove waste materials, rubbish, the Design-Builder’s tools, construction equipment, machinery and surplus materials from and about the Project.

CLEANING UP. § 5.11.1 A.3.14.1 The Design-Builder shall keep the premises and surrounding area free from accumulation of waste materials or rubbish caused by operations under the ContractDesign-Build Contract on a weekly basis minimum, and more often as needed to maintain a functional, efficient and safe construction site to the reasonable satisfaction of Owner. At completion of the Work, the Design-Builder shall remove from and about the Project waste materials, rubbish, the Design-Builder’s tools, construction equipment, machinery and surplus materials from and about the Projectmaterials.

The Design-Builder shall not be held responsible for unclean conditions caused by other Design-Builders.

At completion of the Work, the Design-Builder shall remove waste materials, rubbish, the Design-Builder’s tools, construction equipment, machinery and surplus materials from and about the Project. If the Design-Builder fails to clean up as provided in the Design-Build Documents, the Town may do so and Town shall be entitled to reimbursement from the Design-Builder.

At completion of the Work, Work the Design-Builder shall remove from and about the Project waste materials, rubbish, tools, scaffolding and surplus materials belonging to Design-Builder and/or to Design-Builder's Contractors, laborers or materialmen, it being specifically understood the Design-Builder’s toolsBuilder shall leave the work "broom clean", construction equipmentor its equivalent, machinery and surplus materials from and about unless otherwise specified by the ProjectOwner.
