Cleaning Department. (a) An employee will be on probation until he has completed sixty (60) working days in a twelve (12) month period commencing from the first day he worked. Upon completion of such probationary period, the employee's name shall be placed on such Seniority List and, in the case of a full-time employee, credited with seniority back to date of hire, and, in the case of a part-time employee, credited with 480 hours of seniority. A revised copy of each Seniority List shall be posted on the appropriate bulletin board and sent to the Union in January and July of each year.

Cleaning Department. (a) The Employer will supply each employee with two (2) sets of clothing or uniforms for every calendar year. A uniform will consist of one (1) shirt, one (1) pair of pants, or one (1) xxxxx. Clothing will be supplied by April 1st of each year or whenever the employee is recalled from lay-off whichever date is later.

Upon completion of eighteen (18) years of continuous employment on the Seniority List as of January 1st - ten percent (10%) of gross earnings (exclusive of previous years vacation pay). Note: Earnings are those July 1 to June 30.

  • ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION STANDARDS CONTRACTOR shall be in compliance with the Clean Air Act (Title 42 USC Section 7401 et seq.), the Clean Water Act (Title 33 USC Section 1251 et seq.), Executive Order 11738 and Environmental Protection Agency, hereinafter referred to as “EPA,” regulations (Title 40 CFR), as any may now exist or be hereafter amended.   • Joint Funded Project with the Ohio Department of Transportation In the event that the Recipient does not have contracting authority over project engineering, construction, or right-of- way, the Recipient and the OPWC hereby assign certain responsibilities to the Ohio Department of Transportation, an authorized representative of the State of Ohio. Notwithstanding Sections IV, VI.A., VI.B., VI.C., and VII of the Project Agreement, Recipient hereby acknowledges that upon notification by the Ohio Department of Transportation, all payments for eligible project costs will be disbursed by the Grantor directly to the Ohio Department of Transportation. A Memorandum of Funds issued by the Ohio Department of Transportation shall be used to certify the estimated project costs. Upon receipt of a Memorandum of Funds from the Ohio Department of Transportation, the OPWC shall transfer funds directly to the Ohio Department of Transportation via an Intra-State Transfer Voucher. The amount or amounts transferred shall be determined by applying the Participation Percentages defined in Appendix D to those eligible project costs within the Memorandum of Funds. In the event that the Project Scope is for right-of-way only, notwithstanding Appendix D, the OPWC shall pay for 100% of the right-of-way costs not to exceed the total financial assistance provided in Appendix C. APPENDIX D LOCAL SUBDIVISION CONTRIBUTION, PROJECT FINANCING AND EXPENSES SCHEME AND DISBURSEMENT RATIO

  • Environmental Health and Safety i. Environment, Health and Safety Performance. Seller acknowledges and accepts full and sole responsibility to maintain an environment, health and safety management system ("EMS") appropriate for its business throughout the performance of this Contract. Buyer expects that Seller’s EMS shall promote health and safety, environmental stewardship, and pollution prevention by appropriate source reduction strategies. Seller shall convey the requirement of this clause to its suppliers. Seller shall not deliver goods that contain asbestos mineral fibers.

  • Monitoring by the Department The Contractor shall permit all persons who are duly authorized by the Department to inspect and copy any records, papers, documents, facilities, goods, and services of the Contractor that are relevant to this Contract, and to interview clients, employees, and sub-contractor employees of the Contractor to assure the Department of satisfactory performance of the terms and conditions of this Contract. Following such review, the Department shall deliver to the Contractor a written report of its finding, and may direct the development, by the Contractor, of a corrective action plan. This provision shall not limit the Department’s termination rights.

  • Department Chairs The release time required to perform the administrative functions of the Department Chair positions shall be deducted from the total workload of the Department Chair with no less than fifty percent (50%) of this release taken from direct instructional duties.

  • Cleanliness and Safety; Entry Resident agrees to maintain the assigned bedroom space, the apartment and the common areas of the Property in a clean, safe and sanitary condition, to exercise all due care in the use of same, and to cooperate fully with the Property pest control program as requested. Resident will be responsible for the cost of treatment for bedbugs and similar pests to the extent Owner’s pest control vendor reasonably determines that an infestation has originated within Resident’s assigned space and during Resident’s occupancy. Resident will place all trash in provided receptacles and will be responsible for the cost of cleaning the interior or exterior of the apartment if not kept in sanitary condition. When outdoor temperatures are below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, Resident will keep the apartment’s heat turned on to prevent frozen or burst pipes, including during vacations. When outdoor temperatures exceed 85 degrees Fahrenheit, Resident will keep the apartment’s air conditioning turned on and set to a reasonable temperature to prevent mold or mildew growth, including during vacations. Owner and its agents, employees and contractors may enter any apartment and bedroom space to perform routine maintenance, inspections, showings and other ordinary functions, provided that Owner will provide advance notice to residents of an apartment before such entry. Owner reserves the right to enter an apartment and any bedroom space without prior notice (including a passkey and/or disarming the alarm or other means of entry if locks have been changed) for emergency maintenance or repair purposes, or when there is reasonable cause to believe that a situation exists that could cause danger to life, safety, health or property. Owner may confiscate any item deemed to cause a danger and is under no obligation to pay compensation for or to return such items.
