Classroom Teacher. A teacher whose major professional responsibility is the instruction of pupils and with whom pupils are based for pupil accounting purposes.
Classroom Teacher. All certified personnel employed on the teachers' salary schedule who are regularly assigned in a classroom.
Classroom Teacher. A “classroom teacher” is a certificated employee who provides academically focused instruction to students and holds a teaching certificate identified in the law. The District and Association shall consult on a case-by-case basis regarding any employee for which it is unclear whether the employee’s position fits this definition.
Classroom Teacher. The Board of Education shall provide one (1) professional meeting per employee (per school year) provided the request falls within the funds appropriated for such activities by the Board of Education. The building principal may approve (and forward to the Superintendent for final approval) requests from his/her building staying within the funding limits appropriated for such purposes to his/her building. An overall limit of reimbursement for expenses incurred will be placed at four hundred dollars ($400.00) and shall be limited to the following:
Classroom Teacher. I understand the importance of the school experience to every student and my role as a teacher and model. Therefore, I agree to carry out the following responsibilities: • Be aware of the needs of your child. • Adapt instruction to meet your child’s needs. • Communicate with you regarding your child’s progress. • Teach strategies to enable your child to become a successful learner. Student: I know my education is important to me. It will help me become a better person. I know my parents want to help me, but I am the one who must do the work. Therefore, I agree to do the following: • Complete classwork/homework assignments and return them on time. • Return corrected work to my parent/caregiver. • Be at school on time unless I am sick. • Be responsible for my behavior. • Pay attention to instruction.
Classroom Teacher. Teachers who work directly with students and provide academically focused instruction currently designated by the parties as: P/K – grade 5, English/LA, Math, Music, PE, Social Studies, CTE, Science, Special Education, World Languages, Secondary ELL, and Electives.
Classroom Teacher. The staffing PTR’s and procedures described in Appendix I: Classroom Staffing shall be followed to generate and allocate classroom teachers. Where specific concerns arise regarding the utilization of the formula those concerns will be reviewed by the Secondary School Staffing Advisory Committee.
