Classification Changes. A. When the DPA proposes establishment of a new classification or modification of an existing one, it shall inform the Union in writing of the proposal. The Union may request to meet and confer with the DPA regarding the classification proposal. Failure to respond in writing within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of the notice shall constitute a waiver of the Union’s right to meet and confer over the classification proposal prior to submittal to the SPB for consideration.
