Common use of Classes of Shares Clause in Contracts

Classes of Shares. Shares of the Agency are divided into five classes as follows: (a) Class "A" shares, which are to be offered, allotted and issued to African States or their duly nominated or designated fully owned government public entities; (b) Class "B" shares which are to be offered, allotted and issued to Non- African States or their duly nominated or designated public entities; (c) Class "C" shares which are to be offered, allotted and issued to Private Corporations; (d) Class "D1" shares which are to be offered, allotted and issued to Regional Economic Organizations and African Public Institutions; and (e) Class "D2" shares which are to be offered, allotted and issued to Export Credit Agencies and Non-African Public Entities.
