This basic Patrol Rifle Operator Course is a three-day course designed for patrol officers or others who will or may have access to a patrol rifle for use during their tour of duty. The class will cover officer liability, safety, loading, unloading, and cruiser ready, nomenclature and cleaning of the rifle, mechanical zero and precision zero, shooting fundamentals, rifle deployment, shooting positions, use of cover and concealment, transition drills, flashlight use, and shooting skills.
