CLASS ADVANCEMENT. To qualify for class advancement on the regular academic employee salary schedule, academic personnel will notify Human Resources that they have received an advance degree by July 15th and submit evidence of the advanced degree from an accredited college or university or evidence of a sufficient number of units to meet requirements for class advancement on the salary schedule. As proof of completion, official transcripts must be submitted prior to August 31st of the year for which the change in salary placement is requested. Class advancements are processed only during the month of August of each year, and modify the employee’s salary for the full college year.
