Claims Against Employer. Any description of insurance benefits contained in this Article is intended to be informational only and the eligibility for benefits shall be governed by the terms of the insurance plan and not by this Agreement. The Employer’s only obligation is to pay such amounts as agreed to herein and no claim shall be made against the Employer as a result of a denial of insurance benefits by the insurance plan administrator, except in case of error by the Employer in reporting information to the administrator.

Claims Against Employer. The Union shall save the Employer harmless for any and all claims which may be made against the Employer relating to the amount deducted from pay as herein provided.

Consultant shall take affirmative action to insure that applicants are employed and that employees are treated during employment without regard to their race, color, creed, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, ancestry or other protected class.

  • Violence Against Women The parties hereby recognize and share the concern that women uniquely face situations of violence or abuse in their personal lives that may affect their attendance or performance at work. A woman who is in an abusive or violent personal or domestic situation will not be subjected to discipline without giving full consideration to the facts in the case of each individual and the circumstances surrounding the incident otherwise supportive of discipline. This statement of intent is subject to a standard of good faith on the part of the Employer, the Union and the affected employees and will not be utilized by the Union or the employees to subvert the application of otherwise appropriate disciplinary measures.

  • Insurance against liability Nothing in this clause requires an employer to insure against liability for accident pay.
