Common use of CIVIL RIGHTS ACT Clause in Contracts

CIVIL RIGHTS ACT. This Agreement and any resulting Project Agreement is subject to the compliance requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as amended (42 U.S.C. 2000-d) relating to nondiscrimination in Federally assisted programs. It is the responsibility of each PAH to assure the PAH has signed an Assurance of Compliance with the nondiscriminatory provisions of the Act (Attachment 1).
