City Vehicles. 1. The practice whereby employees take city vehicles home when assigned shall continue.
City Vehicles. City-owned vehicles may be taken home by members of the bargaining unit if approved by the City Manager or designee and subject to the city policy.
City Vehicles. The Parties agree to the City’s Vehicle Usage Policy, Administrative Instruction 4-5, and the City Operator Permit, Administrative Instruction 4-14. Subject to vehicle availability, a Work Shift will have city vehicles. The City may unilaterally revoke the take home vehicle practice (for all BUEs) so long as the City: provides at least thirty (30) days-notice; and, the take home privilege ends on June 1 or December 1 (or another date the Parties agree a bid is effective). So long as the take home privilege is maintained, the employees on a Work Shift may propose which, if either, takes the vehicle home (subject to AI 4-5 and operational needs such as distance from work). The Parties agree that Section VII(1)(b) of the AI 4-5 does not apply to taking home vehicles. Employees may lose vehicle privileges based on AI 4-5 and AI 4-14, but not due to personal bias, discrimination, or retaliation; loss of privileges under AI 4-5 is subject to grievance.
City Vehicles. A, City vehicles are assigned to be used for City business only.
City Vehicles. Safety Checks In the interest of promoting and preserving a safe City Vehicle Policy, the Employer shall ensure that all City vehicles, including sedans and pick‐up trucks, are maintained on a continuous basis in accordance with the National Safety Code and the B.C. Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program.
City Vehicles. The proposer shall provide tow services for City and police department vehicles twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week at the direction of police department personnel.
City Vehicles. An intern will not be allowed to operate a vehicle owned by the City of High Point. Interns will be allowed to be the passenger in a City vehicle.
City Vehicles. City vehicles are assigned to be used for City business only. If the City discontinues the City vehicle, Employees will be reimbursed at the Federal Mileage rate for use of their own car.
City Vehicles. Contractor shall provide, at no cost to City, routine roadside service including, but not limited to, towing service, to all vehicles owned by the City of Burbank up to and including one (1) ton rated vehicles at the request of the Police Chief or his designee whenever such vehicles require such service within the City of Burbank, or within five (5) road miles of the corporate limits of the City. Contractor shall provide storage at no cost for up to nine (9) months for a maximum of seven (7) vehicles being held for investigation or court proceedings. Any vehicle held over the nine (9) months shall be stored and charged for in accordance with Section 35 herein.
City Vehicles. At the City's sole discretion, permission to take a City vehicle home at night and use it to commute to and from work may be withdrawn at any time. No City employee shall be required to use his/her own personal vehicle for his or her regular City business. However, an employee may be required to use his or her own personal vehicle to attend training sessions, seminars or conferences. In which case, the City shall reimburse employees at the current IRS rate for mileage.
