CITY VEHICLE. The City shall provide, for business use of the Employee only, an existing vehicle owned by City, providing for insurance, fuel, and maintenance of said vehicle.

CITY VEHICLE. The City shall provide the Manager with a late model, full-size automobile for the Manager's business use. The City shall fully maintain the automobile in a safe and good working condition and maintain an automobile liability insurance policy on the automobile with the Manager as a named insured. The City shall fully pay or reimburse the Manager for expenses incurred in the maintenance and use of said automobile and may, in its discretion, provide the Manager with a credit card owned by the City to which such reasonable automobile expenses may be charged. ___________________________________
CITY VEHICLE. Employees may be provided City vehicles for use in the performance of their job duties. Employees who are required to use their automobiles on official City business shall be reimbursed at the current Internal Revenue Service standard mileage rate.
CITY VEHICLE. The CITY shall provide a CITY-owned take home vehicle for use by a member who is assigned to provide 24-hour response to emergency incidents. The CITY shall provide fuel, maintenance, and automobile insurance. A take home vehicle is to be used only for official CITY business unless approved, in writing, for incidental use by the City Manager. In order to be eligible for a take home vehicle, a member must be able to respond promptly to the designated location and arrive within a reasonable period of time after being notified to respond. Reasonable response time shall be the time required to get ready and then drive at normal speeds to the designated duty location (including the need to first stop at the station if necessary). Employees subject to this provision must be able to arrive at the designated location within one (1) hour of notification. Use of the vehicle is conditioned upon the following: • Vehicle and equipment shall be secured at all times. • Vehicle shall be either garaged or stored off-street. • Any weapons in the vehicle shall be secured in a locked compartment or vault. • Vehicle shall only be operated by the authorized employee. • Employees shall adhere to all Beaumont Police Department and CITY policies and procedures relating to vehicle operations. • Operating the vehicle for incidental use shall not be considered time-worked, unless driving to or from an official job-related function. • Vehicle shall not be operated outside a 100-mile radius of the CITY’s civic center without prior approval of the City Manager. • Vehicle shall be left at the police facility while employee is on leave for one or more weeks and the vehicle will be left unattended.
CITY VEHICLE. Employees who reside within a five (5) mile radius from the City of Wauseon police department and are assigned a City vehicle may keep a City vehicle their residence. City vehicles may only be used for work purposes.
CITY VEHICLE.  Each of the two (2) standby employees shall be authorized to take home a designated unmarked City vehicle, which is equipped with critical incident investigative materials. The City vehicle shall be used only for official City business in the course of the assigned employees' standby duty, and for travel to and from work.  Employees operating a City vehicle on standby status shall comply with Administrative Rules 6.1, City Vehicles, Auto Allowance & Mileage Reimbursement, and 6.9, City Vehicles Tax Reform Act of 1984.
CITY VEHICLE. The City shall provide the Manager with a city vehicle for the Manager’s business and incidental personal use. The City shall fully maintain the automobile and cover the vehicle under the City’s Self-Insured Automobile Liability coverage.

CITY VEHICLE. The City shall issue a City “emergency” vehicle as defined by the California Vehicle Code to Unit employees to use in their official duties subject to the City vehicle assignment policy. In the event the City vehicle is unavailable or its use is restricted from take home use, then Unit employees shall receive a vehicle allowance of $250.00 per month as compensation for the loss of the take home vehicle.
CITY VEHICLE. Vehicles that collect, transport, and deliver materials collected through City operations, including Solid Waste and Recyclable Materials.
