City Manager Approval. When the original Contract amount plus all change orders is $100,000 or less, the City Manager or his designee may approve the written change order provided the change order does not increase the total amount set forth in the Contract to more than $100,000. For such contracts, when a change order results in a total contract amount that exceeds $100,000, the City Council of the City must approve such change order prior to commencement of the services or work; and
City Manager Approval. City and SRL acknowledge and agree that the parties may need to execute one or more amendments to this Amendment which shall provide greater detail with respect to the rights, duties and obligations of each party. The approval of this Amendment by City will authorize the City Manager to execute amendments to this Amendment that are in furtherance of the terms and conditions contained herein.

The City Manager is authorized to approve all reports of the Manager, Employee Relations on classification, class specifications, and rates of pay for new or existing positions with a maximum retroactive date of one year and which have been agreed to by the Department Head and the Union. Retroactive payment will be made from the first pay period following receipt of the request.

All actions resulting in a salary reduction shall be subject to review by the appointing authority and the Chief of Police involved within 30 days following the effective date of the initial action and at regular intervals thereafter.
