Citizen Complaints. An employee shall not be subject to disciplinary action in excess of a written reprimand on the basis of a citizen complaint about the employee=s conduct, unless the complaining citizen is willing to identify himself to the City and is willing to provide a written statement recounting the employee=s conduct.

Citizen Complaints. The goal of DEO is to provide an opportunity to resolve citizen complaints in a timely manner, usually within fifteen (15) business days of the receipt of the complaint as expected by HUD, if practicable, and to provide the right to participate in the process and appeal a decision when there is reason for an applicant to believe its application was not handled according to program policies. Citizen Complaints. It is understood that complaints of this nature are governed by the procedures set out in Part 9 of the Police Act. The employer undertakes to assist employees who are Special Provincial Constables in complying with these statutory provisions in all cases when the complaint arises from the conduct of the employee in the performance, or attempted performance, in good faith of the duties of that employee as a Special Provincial Constable. It is understood that the employer and the employee must conform to the requirements of the Protocol Agreement between the Complaint Commissioner and BC Transit Security.
