Christmas Period. Article 16 relating to scheduling during this period will apply, except as modified to confirm that the weekend shift employee will continue to work weekends during this period.

Christmas Period. (a) As per Article K-1 (e) (ii) the Hospital will endeavour to schedule five (5) consecutive days off during the Christmas and New Years period. The Hospital will allow the nurse to utilize holiday bank for income replacement during the Christmas/New Years period.

Christmas Period. (i) As per Article 24.01 (c) the Hospital will endeavour to schedule employees off for not less than three (3) consecutive days off during the Christmas and New Years period. The hospital will allow the weekend worker to utilize holiday bank for income replacement during the Christmas/New Years period. It is understood that weekend workers continue to work weekends during this period.
Christmas Period. A Unit weekend worker may be scheduled to work over Christmas or New Year’s. The number of weekly hours normally scheduled for the weekend worker will be maintained. The nurse and the union will meet with the Unit Manager to discuss the Christmas rotation, and an agreement will be reached which meets the needs of both the Unit and the weekend worker.
Christmas Period. Article H-3 (c) shall apply except where Christmas and New Years fall on a weekend. In this instance the nurse is required to work both days. If Christmas and New Years fall on a weekday, the nurse can only be required to work during one of the holiday periods in accordance with local provisions.
