Christmas Eve Day. Employees working on Christmas Eve Day shall work half of their regularly scheduled shift and be paid at their full rate of pay for that day. It is recognized that employees who regularly work afternoon shift on Christmas Eve Day shall work day shift that day only. An employee who normally works seven and one half (7 1/2) hours on afternoon shift shall work four (4) hours Christmas Eve Day and be paid for eight (8) hours.

Christmas Eve Day. (a) Subject to 31.04 (b), employees shall be entitled to cease work at one o’clock in the afternoon on December 24 when that day falls on Monday through Friday. This day shall be considered a full working day for purposes of calculation.
Christmas Eve Day. Employees who work on Christmas Eve Day shall receive their regular pay for the time they work on such day plus a bonus of two (2) extra hours for each and every shift they worked on such day.

  • Christmas Day Easter Tuesday shall be observed as a Public Holiday in lieu of Easter Saturday and any work performed on Easter Saturday shall be paid at ordinary Saturday penalty rates. Should Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day, Australia Day or ANZAC day fall on a weekend, the following Monday, or other day as agreed shall be taken in lieu.
