Child Abuse. If I have reasonable cause to believe that a child with whom I have had contact has been abused I may be required to report the abuse. Additionally, if I have reasonable cause to believe that an adult with whom I have had contact has abused a child, I may be required to report the abuse. In any child abuse investigation I may be compelled to turn over PHI. Regardless of whether I am required to disclose PHI or to release documents, I also have an ethical obligation to prevent harm to my clients and others. I will use my professional judgment to determine whether it is appropriate to disclose PHI to prevent harm.

Child Abuse. All employees shall report any suspected child abuse cases to the employee’s supervisor, or Director of Maintenance & Operations and if necessary to comply with state law to Child Protective Services or law enforcement. To the extent that it is legally possible, the District agrees to maintain the anonymity of the employee from the alleged abuser.
Child Abuse. A district employee who has reasonable cause to suspect that a student may be an abused or neglected child shall report such a case to the Montana Department of Family Services Centralized Intake Reporting System. All reporters will call the statewide phone number, 0-000-000-0000. The employee shall notify the Superintendent that the report has been made. Any of the District’s employees who fail to report to the Department of Family Services Centralized Intake Reporting System known or suspected cases of child abuse or neglect, or who prevent another person from reasonably doing so may be civilly liable for the damages proximately caused by such failure or prevention, and are guilty of a misdemeanor. This person will also be subject to disciplinary action, including discharge, by the Board. Ekalaka Public School Policy #5232.
Child Abuse. If a child discloses abuse or if physical signs of abuse are observed, a report will be made to the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services in accordance with the Texas Family Code. Supervisors will follow the direction given by Protective Services.

Child Abuse. 13.1 The Foundation will not tolerate corporal punishment to the students in the Partner School(s) operated under this Contract. In case of corporal punishment or any other kind of child abuse wherein there is an evidence to show administrative weakness and negligence on the part of Partner and school staff resulting into serious physical/psychological injury to the student; the Foundation will move for immediate Contract termination without serving any prior notice to the Partner.
