Chief of Party. (COP) The COP is responsible for overall leadership of the project, including technical, administrative, operational, and logistical management of project activities. The COP must be a highly qualified development professional with a demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage challenging projects. This project operates in a highly nuanced and sensitive environment. The position requires an individual with the following qualifications: ● Master’s degree/professional certification in a public financial management related field (economics, accounting, finance, business administration) and relevant experience in a public financial management related field. ● Demonstrated experience working in planning and managing highly complex public financial management related projects in developing countries, with preference given to Middle East countries. ● COP candidates should have experience in successfully implementing public financial management activities that match the size and complexity of this activity as outlined in section C. ● Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team on projects of a similar scale (financially, staff size, and activities). ● Demonstrated ability to create, manage and sustain productive working relationships with counterparts/stakeholders in both the public and private sectors. ● Strong writing and oral presentation skills. The COP will be the principal liaison for the contract with USAID, will be responsible for conforming contract activities to the USAID/Jordan Mission strategy, and will ensure that all reporting requirements are met fully and in a timely manner. The COP will serve as the contract representative in public and private meetings in Jordan, and will be required to meet with leaders and representatives of the public and private sectors to promote fiscal reform activities.
Chief of Party. A Chief of Party is directly responsible for the layout from the taking of information from supplied spec- ifications and plans to the direction and actual performance of layout. He shall be able to read plans and specifications, draw any additional sketches required for the performance or lay out, develop and maintain survey records, do the necessary computations, keep control of layout on the job and to perform and direct the operations of Instrument men and Rodmen, and perform such other duties as may be assigned to him consis- tent with his duties. Instrument Man: An Instrument Man or Transitman under direction performs layout. He shall be able to set up, operate and make minor adjustments to surveying instruments, read plans and sketches and keep surveying records. He shall be able to perform the duties of a Xxxxxx.

Chief of Party. (COP) or equivalent title The COP shall be responsible for overall technical and administrative management of Health Reform activity, including: • Exemplary leadership, vision and direction for the activity; • Ongoing analysis of pharmaceutical management reform efforts; • Strategic planning, including timely preparation of the annual implementation plan; • Effective coordination and engagement with all activity stakeholders; • Maintaining a productive partnership relationship with USAID; • Managing and developing staff, and consultants to achieve expected results; • Ensuring high quality standards of technical assistance and support to activity stakeholders; • Managing activity communications with USAID, key stakeholders, civil society, private sector, the general public, and other donors; • Ensure compliance with USAID, USG and GOU laws, regulations, policies and procedures; • Other tasks as required to achieve the activity Objectives and Expected Results.
Chief of Party shall be responsible for all direction and operations of the crew and shall receive Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxx Wages.
