Common use of CHECK-OFF Clause in Contracts

CHECK-OFF. Section 1. The City shall deduct regular monthly Union dues from the pay of each employee covered by this Agreement; provided, that at the time of such deduction there is in the possession of the City a current unrevoked written authorization, executed by the employee, in the form and according to the terms of the authorization form. Such authorization may be revoked by the employee at any time by giving written notice thereof to the City.
