Check-Off Procedure. Except as otherwise provided, each member teacher shall authorize in writing the deduction of the total dues within thirty (30) days following the beginning of the school year. A non-member teacher may authorize payroll deduction of his representation fee in accordance with the procedure set forth hereafter. Teacher authorizations for the deduction of the total dues shall identify the teacher, the amount of each deduction, the period for which deductions are to be made, and be signed by each teacher. The Board shall deduct the authorized amount due from each teacher’s pay and transmit the total deductions to the Treasurer of the Association within fifteen (15) days following the deduction, together with a listing of each teacher for whom deductions were made. The deductions of dues shall be made from one regular paycheck each month for ten (10) months, beginning in September. If a teacher does not pay the applicable dues or representation fee to the Association, the Board shall deduct the amount from the teacher’s basic compensation and remit such amount to the Association as authorized under MCLA 408.477. If such involuntary payroll deduction procedure is deemed illegal by a court of competent jurisdiction, the board shall, at the written request of the Association, terminate the employment of such teacher at the end of the semester after the teacher has exhausted his/her remedies under the MEA policy and procedures. The parties agree that the failure of any teacher to comply with the provisions of this Article is just cause for discharge from employment.

  • Model Rules of Procedure 1. The procedure before the Panel shall be conducted in accordance with the Model Rules of Procedure set out in Annex 12 (Model Rules of Procedure). Unless otherwise agreed by the disputing Parties within 20 days following the establishment of the Panel, the terms of reference shall be: "To examine, in light of the relevant provisions of this Agreement, the matter referred to in the request for the establishment of a Panel pursuant to Article 177 (Request for a Panel) and to make findings of law and fact together with the reasons therefore for the resolution of the dispute, as well as a recommendation for its implementation, if needed."

  • Rules of Procedure By referring any specific grievance to be dealt with in the expedited arbitration procedure it is understood and agreed that the matter is to be dealt with in accordance with the Rules of Procedure attached to this Agreement as Appendix 1.

  • Transfer Procedure After receipt by Silicon Valley Bank of the executed Warrant, Silicon Valley Bank will transfer all of this Warrant to its parent company, SVB Financial Group.   • CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES 13.1 Residents must complete the prescribed check-out procedures in order to avoid additional financial responsibilities. In order to properly check out, a resident must make an appointment with UH staff member, typically their own Resident Assistant or Community Coordinator. Information regarding this process will be published by UH toward the end of each semester and must be followed.

  • Move-Out Procedure Prior to either (i) the expiry of the Term, or (ii) the date on which the Resident is to vacate the Residence (detailed in Table 1 & 3), the Manager, or designate, can be requested in advance by the Resident to complete a visual inspection of the Suite to view the state of cleanliness and repair. If no request to inspect the suite is made by the Resident, the inspection will take place once the Resident has vacated the suite. In the event the Resident chooses to have the inspection completed prior to vacating the suite, the Manager, or designate, will inspect the suite and inform the Resident of potential damage and/or cleaning charges and outline what steps the student may take to mitigate charges. On vacating, all garbage and belongings of the Resident must be removed, and the suite must be cleaned to the point of restoring the suite to its original condition. Once the Resident has vacated, the Manager, or designate, will complete a documented visual inspection of the Suite. In the event deficiencies are found, the cost of cleaning the suite and restoring it to its original state may be deducted from the Resident’s original Deposit. There is a minimum cleaning charge of $25.00 and damage charges will be billed accordingly at the cost of restoring the suite to its original condition. Any items left behind by the Resident will be immediately discarded; the Residence shall not be liable to the Resident for any loss of property as a result. As with the “move-in procedures”, care must be exercised to avoid damage to doors, frames, walls, floor coverings and any other part of the Residence. The Resident is financially responsible to pay forthwith for any damage caused on moving out of the Residence.
