Common use of Charges and Costs Clause in Contracts

Charges and Costs. You permit us to reserve against your credit/debit card (“Reserve”) or take a cash deposit (“Deposit”) at the time of rental a reasonable amount in addition to the estimated charges. We may use the Reserve or Deposit to pay all Charges. We will authorize the release of any excess Reserve or refund any excess Deposit after the completion of your rental. Your debit/credit card issuer’s rules will apply to your account being credited for the excess, which may not be immediately released by the card issuer, and refund of your Deposit may require up to 5 days to process and return. You will pay us, or the appropriate government authorities, at or before conclusion of this rental or on demand all Charges, including: (a) base rental rate for the Rental Period; (b) excess mileage fee if applicable (c) charges for additional drivers; (d) optional products and services you purchased; (e) gas, if you return the Vehicle with less gas than when rented; (f) taxes and surcharges; (g) all expenses we incur in locating and recovering the Vehicle if you fail to return it or if we elect to repossess the Vehicle under the terms of the Rental Agreement; (h) all costs, including pre- and post-judgment attorney fees, we incur collecting payment from you or otherwise enforcing our rights under the Rental Agreement; (i) a reasonable fee not to exceed $250 to clean the Vehicle if returned substantially less clean than when rented; (j) a fee of up to $150 if you lose the keys to the Vehicle; (k) a surcharge if you do not return it on the date and time due, and you may be charged the standard rates for each day (or partial day) after the due-in date, which may be substantially higher than the rates for the initially agreed rental period if a special or promotional rate applied to the initially agreed rental period; and (l) replacement cost of lost or damaged parts and supplies used in Optional Equipment. All Charges are subject to our final audit. If errors are discovered after the close of this transaction, you authorize us to correct the Charges with the payment card issuer.

Charges and Costs. You permit us to reserve against your credit/debit card (“Reserve”) or take a cash deposit (“Deposit”) at the time of rental a reasonable amount or within 7 days of departure of $500 in addition to the estimated charges. We may ask you to create a separate transaction for this fee. We may use the Reserve or Deposit to pay all Charges. We will authorize the release of any excess Reserve or refund any excess Deposit Deposit, less any Charges for damage, fuel and loss, all as described herein, no later than seven (7) days after the completion of your rental. Your debit/credit card issuer’s rules will apply to your account being credited for the excess, which may not be immediately released by the card issuer, and refund of your Deposit may require up to 5 21 days to process and return. In the event of damage, we reserve the right to hold the security deposit for up to 45 days to allow for estimating, repairs, insurance claims etc...You will pay us, or the appropriate government authorities, at or before conclusion of this rental or on demand all Charges, including: (a) base rental rate for the Rental Period; (b) excess mileage fee if applicable (c) charges for additional drivers; (dc) optional products and services you purchased; (ed) gas, if you return the Vehicle with less gas than when rented; (fe) taxes and surcharges; (gf) all expenses we incur in locating and recovering the Vehicle if you fail to return it or if we elect to repossess the Vehicle under the terms of the Rental this Agreement; (hg) all costs, including pre- pre‐ and post-judgment post‐judgment attorney fees, we incur collecting payment from you or otherwise enforcing our rights under the Rental this Agreement; (ih) a reasonable fee not to exceed $250 $ 150 to clean the Vehicle if returned substantially less clean than when rented; (i) the fees set forth on Exhibit B if you lose or damage any of the Equipment and other items listed on Exhibit B; (j) a fee of up to $150 surcharge if you lose return the keys Vehicle to a location other than the Vehicle; (k) a surcharge location where you rented the Vehicle or if you do not return it on the date and time due, and you may be charged the standard rates for each day (or partial day) after the due-in due‐in date, which may be substantially higher than the rates for the initially agreed rental period if a special or promotional rate applied to the initially agreed rental period; (k) the actual replacement cost of the owner's manual plus an administrative fee if the owner's manual is not returned with the vehicle, and (l) replacement cost of lost or damaged parts and supplies used in Optional Equipment. All Charges are subject to our final audit. If errors are discovered after the close of this transaction, you authorize us to correct the Charges with the payment card issuer.

You will pay us, or the appropriate government authorities, at or before conclusion of this rental or on demand all Charges, including: (a) base rental rate for the Rental Period; (b) excess mileage fee if applicable (c) charges for additional drivers; (d) optional products and services you purchased; (e) gas, if you return the Vehicle with less gas than when rented; (fc) taxes and surcharges; (gd) all expenses we incur in locating and recovering the Vehicle if you fail to return it or if we elect to repossess the Vehicle under the terms of the Rental this Agreement; (he) all costs, including pre- pre− and post-judgment post−judgment attorney fees, we incur collecting payment from you or otherwise enforcing our rights under the Rental this Agreement; (if) a reasonable fee not to exceed $250 $ to clean the Vehicle if returned substantially less clean than when rented; (j) a fee of up to $150 if you lose the keys to the Vehicle; (kg) a surcharge if you return the Vehicle to a location other than the location where you rented the Vehicle or if you do not return it on the date and time due, and you may be charged the standard rates for each day (or partial day) after the due-in date, which may be substantially higher than the rates for the initially agreed rental period if a special or promotional rate applied to the initially agreed rental period; and (lh) replacement cost of lost or damaged parts and supplies used in Optional Equipment; and (i) a dumping fee of $50 if the Vehicle’s waste tanks have not been drained (valves open, caps off) prior to return of the Vehicle. All Charges are subject to our final audit. If errors are discovered after the close of this transaction, you authorize us to correct the Charges with the payment card issuer.

Charges and Costs. You will pay us, or the appropriate government authorities, at or before conclusion of this rental or on demand demand, all Charges, including: (a) base rental rate for the Rental Period; (b) excess mileage fee if applicable (c) charges for additional driversdrivers if applicable; (d) optional products and services you purchased; (e) gasfuel charges, if you return the Vehicle with less gas fuel than when rented; (f) taxes and surcharges; (g) all expenses we incur in locating and recovering the Vehicle if you fail to return it or if we elect to repossess the Vehicle under the terms Terms and Conditions of the Rental this Agreement; (h) all costs, including pre- and post-judgment pre/post‐judgment attorney fees, we incur collecting payment from you or otherwise enforcing our rights under the Rental this Agreement; (i) a reasonable fee not to exceed $250 to clean the Vehicle if returned substantially less clean than when rented; (j) a fee of up to $150 100.00 if you lose the keys to the Vehicle; (k) a surcharge if you do not return it on the date and time due, and you may be charged the standard rates for each day (or partial day) after the due-in datea late return fee), which may be substantially higher than the rates for the initially agreed rental period if a special or promotional rate applied to the initially agreed rental period; and (l) replacement cost of lost or damaged parts and supplies used in Optional Equipment. All Charges are subject to our final audit. If errors are discovered after the close of this transaction, you authorize us to correct the Charges with the payment card issuer.

You will pay us, or the appropriate government authorities, at or before conclusion of this rental or on demand all Charges, including: (a) base rental rate for the Rental Period; (b) excess mileage fee if applicable (c) charges for additional drivers; (d) optional products and services you purchased; (e) gas, if you return the Vehicle with less gas than when rented; (fc) taxes and surcharges; (gd) all expenses we incur in locating and recovering the Vehicle Trailer if you fail to return it or if we elect to repossess the Vehicle Trailer under the terms of the Rental this Agreement; (he) all costs, including pre- pre‐ and post-judgment post‐judgment attorney fees, we incur collecting payment from you or otherwise enforcing our rights under the Rental this Agreement; (if) a reasonable fee not to exceed $250 100 to clean the Vehicle Trailer if returned substantially less clean than when rented; (j) a fee of up to $150 if you lose the keys to the Vehicle; (kg) a surcharge if you return the Trailer to a location other than the location where you rented the Trailer or if you do not return it on the date and time due, and you may be charged the standard rates for each day (or partial day) after the due-in due‐in date, which may be substantially higher than the rates for the initially agreed rental period if a special or promotional rate applied to the initially agreed rental period; and (lh) replacement cost of lost or damaged parts and supplies used in Optional Equipment; and (i) a dumping fee of $75 if all of the Trailer’s waste tanks have not been drained (valves open, caps off) prior to return of the Trailer. All Charges are subject to our final audit. If errors are discovered after the close of this transaction, you authorize us to correct the Charges with the payment card issuer.

You will pay us, or the appropriate government authorities, at or before conclusion of this rental Rental Period or on demand all Charges, including: (a) base rental rate for the Rental Period; (b) excess mileage fee if applicable (c) charges for additional drivers; (d) optional products and services you purchasedpurchase or rent; (ec) gas, if you return the Vehicle with less gas than when rented; (f) all taxes and surcharges; (gd) all expenses we incur in locating and recovering the Vehicle if you fail to return it or if we elect to repossess the Vehicle under the terms of the Rental this Agreement; (he) all costs, including pre- and post-judgment attorney attorneys’ fees, we incur collecting payment from you or otherwise enforcing our rights under the Rental this Agreement; (if) a reasonable fee not to exceed $250 to clean the Vehicle if returned substantially less clean than when rented; (j) a fee of up to $150 if you lose the keys to the Vehicle; (kg) a surcharge if you return the Vehicle to a location other than the location where you rented the Vehicle or if you do not return it on by the date and time duedue back date, and you may be charged the standard rates for each day (or partial day) after the due-in due back date, which may be substantially higher than the rates for the initially agreed rental period Rental Period if a special or promotional rate applied to the initially agreed rental periodRental Period; and (lh) replacement cost of lost or damaged parts and supplies used in Optional Equipment; and (i) a dumping fee of $100 if the Vehicle’s waste tanks have not been drained (valves open, caps off) prior to return of the Vehicle. All Charges are subject to our final audit. If errors are discovered after the close of this transaction, through the final audit or otherwise, you authorize us to correct the Charges with the payment card issuer.

You will pay us, or the appropriate government authorities, us at or before the conclusion of this rental rental, or on demand demand, all Chargescharges due us under this Agreement, includingincluding the charges and fees shown on the Face Page and: (a) base rental rate for a mileage charge based on our experience if the Rental Periododometer is tampered with; (b) excess mileage fee if applicable (c) charges for additional drivers; (d) optional products and services you purchased; (e) gas, if you return the Vehicle with less gas than when rented; (f) taxes and surcharges; (g) all expenses we incur in locating and recovering the Vehicle if you fail to return it, return it to a location or office other than the location or office identified by us, or if we elect to repossess the Vehicle under the terms of the Rental this Agreement; (hc) all costs, costs including pre- and post-judgment attorney fees, fees we incur collecting payment from you or otherwise enforcing or defending our rights under the Rental this Agreement; (id) a 2% per month late payment fee or the maximum amount allowed by law on all amounts past Sixt rent a car - Rental Agreement, Terms & Conditions due; (e) $50 or the maximum amount permitted by law, whichever is greater, if you pay us with a check returned unpaid for any reason; (f) a reasonable fee not to exceed $250 350 to clean the Vehicle if returned substantially less clean than when rentedrented or if there is evidence of smoking in our Vehicle; and, (jg) a fee towing, storage charges, forfeitures, court costs, penalties and all other costs we incur resulting from your use of up the Vehicle during this rental. Special rental rates, vehicle category upgrades or any equipment or services provided to $150 if you lose the keys free of charge only apply to the Vehicle; (k) a surcharge if initially agreed upon rental period: If you do not return it on the date and time dueVehicle after the Due-In date, and you may be charged the standard rates for each day (or partial day) after the dueDue-in In date, which may be substantially higher than the rates for the initially agreed rental period if a special period. You also may be charged the standard fees for each day (or promotional rate applied partial day) after the Due-In date for any equipment or services provided to you without charge for the initially agreed upon rental period; and (l) replacement cost of lost or damaged parts and supplies used in Optional Equipment. All Charges are subject to our final audit. If errors are discovered after the close of this transaction, you authorize us to correct the Charges with the payment card issuer.

All Charges are subject to our final audit. If errors are discovered after the close of this transaction, you authorize us to correct the Charges with the payment card issuer.

Charges and Costs. You will pay us, or the appropriate government authorities, at or before conclusion of this rental or us on demand for all Chargescharges due us under this Agreement (including Exhibit A), including, but not limited to: (a) base rental rate time and mileage for the Rental Periodperiod during which you keep the Vehicle, or a mileage charged based on our experience if the odometer or its seal is tampered with or disconnected; (b) excess mileage fee if applicable (c) charges for additional drivers; (c) charges for the optional services you elected to purchase; (d) optional products and services you purchased; (e) gasgasoline, if you return the Vehicle with less gas than gasoline that when rented; (e) applicable sales, use and other taxes; (f) taxes loss of, or damage to, the Vehicle, which includes the cost of repair, or the retail value of the Vehicle based on the valuation methods accepted by the auto insurance industry on the date of the loss if the Vehicle is not repairable, plus loss of use, diminution of the Vehicle’s value cause by damage to it or repair of it, and surchargesour administrative expenses incurred processing the claim; (g) all fines, penalties, forfeitures, court costs, towing charges and other expenses involving the Vehicle assessed against us or the vehicle, unless these expenses are our fault; (h) all expenses we incur in locating and recovering the Vehicle if you fail to return it or if we elect to repossess the Vehicle under the terms of the Rental this Agreement; (hi) all costs, including pre- and post-judgment attorney fees, we incur collecting payment from you or otherwise enforcing our rights under the Rental this Agreement; (ij) a 2% per month late payment fee, or the maximum amount allowed by law (if lower than 2%) on all amounts past due; (k) 1½% per month interest, or the maximum amount allowed by law (if lower than 1½%) on monies due us but not paid upon return of the Vehicle; (l) a minimum of $50, plus $5/mile for every mile between the returning location and the place where the Vehicle is returned or abandoned, plus any additional recovery expenses we incur; (m) $25 or the maximum amount permitted by law, whichever is greater, if you pay us with a check backed by insufficient funds; and (n) a reasonable fee not to exceed $250 to clean the Vehicle if returned substantially less clean than when rented; (j) a fee of up to $150 if you lose the keys to the Vehicle; (k) a surcharge if you do not return it on the date and time due, and you may be charged the standard rates for each day (or partial day) after the due-in date, which may be substantially higher than the rates for the initially agreed rental period if a special or promotional rate applied to the initially agreed rental period; and (l) replacement cost of lost or damaged parts and supplies used in Optional Equipment. All Charges are subject to our final audit. If errors are discovered after the close of this transaction, you authorize us to correct the Charges with the payment card issuer.

You will pay us, or the appropriate government authorities, at or before conclusion of this rental or on demand all Charges, including: (a) base rental rate for the Rental Period; (b) excess mileage fee if applicable applicable; (c) charges for additional drivers; (d) optional products and services you purchased; (e) gasfuel, if you return the Vehicle with less gas fuel than when rented; (f) applicable taxes and surcharges; (g) all expenses we incur in locating and recovering the Vehicle if you fail to return it or if we elect to repossess the Vehicle under the terms of the Rental this Agreement; (h) all costs, including pre- pre‐ and post-judgment post‐judgment attorney fees, we incur collecting payment from you or otherwise enforcing our rights under the Rental this Agreement; (i) a reasonable fee not to exceed $250 __100__ to clean the Vehicle if returned substantially less clean than when rented; (j) a fee of up to $150 __100__ if you lose the keys to the Vehicle; (k) a surcharge if you return the Vehicle to a location other than the location where you rented the Vehicle or if you do not return it on the date and time due, and you may be charged the standard rates for each day (or partial day) after the due-in due‐in date, which may be substantially higher than the rates for the initially agreed rental period if a special or promotional rate applied to the initially agreed rental period; and (l) replacement cost of lost or damaged parts and supplies used in Optional Equipment. All Charges are subject to our final audit. If errors are discovered after the close of this transaction, you authorize us to correct the Charges with the payment card issuer.

We may use the Reserve or Deposit to pay all Charges. We will authorize the release of any excess Reserve or refund any excess Deposit Deposit, less any Charges for damage, fuel, loss, tolls and additional mileage, all as described herein, no later than seven (7) days after the completion of your rental. Your debit/credit card issuer’s rules will apply to your account being credited for the excess, which may not be immediately released by the card issuer, and refund of your Deposit may require up to 5 21 days to process and return. All Charges are subject to our final audit. If errors are discovered after the close of this transaction, you authorize us to correct the Charges with the payment card issuer.
