Charge Premium. The charge premium of $1.00 per hour will be paid to a nurse who is designated in writing by the unit manager to have responsibilities for coordinating unit staff and activities related to patient care and patient care assignments. The selection and the assignment of the charge nurse differential shall be at the sole discretion of the unit nursing manager. It is understood that any relief charge nurse identified in writing by the unit manager shall be entitled to the charge differential when carrying out such assignments in the absence of the charge nurse.

It is understood and acknowledged that the Hospital has the right to require employees to perform reasonably authorized overtime work. Call-back shall not be considered as hours worked for purposes of this Article. Overtime premium will not be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall other premiums be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall the same hours worked be counted as part of the normal work week and also as hours for which the overtime premium is paid. Where an employee is required to work additional overtime contiguous to an overtime shift within a twenty-four (24) hour period, the employee will be compensated at the rate of double time his or her straight time hourly rate for all additional contiguous overtime hours worked.

  • Charge Pay (a) The Employer shall designate a person to be in charge of a unit. Where such person is absent from the unit for a consecutive time period of two (2) hours or more, an alternate will be designated in charge.

  • Commitment Charge; Credit; Maturity Premium (a) The Borrower shall pay a commitment charge on the unwithdrawn amount of the Loan at the rate and on the terms specified in the Loan Agreement.
