Changing Benefit Provider. Subject to the limitations below, the Board retains the discretion to determine the appropriate method of providing health care benefits, provided, however, that the Board will give the Association at least sixty (60) days' prior notice of its intent to change benefit provider. At least twenty (20) days before any such change is effective, the Association will be provided with a copy of the proposed new contract with the benefit provider.

  • Benefit Provisions The following benefits will be provided to employees based on eligibility requirements in the local collective agreements:

  • Benefit Programs The Executive shall be eligible to participate in any plans, programs or forms of compensation or benefits that the Company or the Company’s subsidiaries provide to the class of employees that includes the Executive, on a basis not less favorable than that provided to such class of employees, including, without limitation, group medical, disability and life insurance, paid time-off, and retirement plan, subject to the terms and conditions of such plans, programs or forms of compensation or benefits.

  • Benefit Protection Plan For employees who have approved disability claims (excluding those for work-related injuries) under the City's Flex disability insurance carrier, management shall continue the City's medical, dental, and basic life insurance plan subsidies for a maximum of two years or at the close of claim, whichever is less. Employees must have been enrolled in a Flex medical, dental and/or basic life plan prior to the beginning of the disability leave. Coverage in this program will end if the employee retires (service or disability) or leaves City service for any reason.

  • Employee Organization Leave Notification of a unit member's intent to take Employee Organization Leave shall be submitted to the Vice Chancellor of Human Resources no later than thirty (30) days prior to the starting date of the leave. In addition to the leave benefits granted to representatives of employee organizations by law, unit members on employee organization leave shall not accrue vacation credit, nor submit time reports for vacation leaves.
