Changes to Reservations. The Renter must obtain the consent of the Company prior to the rental start date and time for any changes to the Rental Conditions provided for in paragraph 1 of the preceding Article.

Changes to Reservations. When changing important booking information, such as the hire date, return date, customer name, principal driver, pick-up or return location, the current hire price applicable for that day is used to calculate the price. If the price quoted at the time of the booking has changed in the meantime, the customer will be free to either pay the altered price or to ask for a refund of all amounts already paid in order to cancel the reservation in full and final settlement. Any request to extend an existing reservation, at Sunny Cars prices and under Sunny Cars conditions, must be submitted to your travel agent or directly to Sunny Cars no later than 24 hours prior to the end of the hire period and is subject to both confirmation and to the availability of the relevant vehicle category at the car hire company. Otherwise, the applicable prices and conditions will be those of the local car hire company, over which Sunny Cars has no control. Any changes made to the booked vehicle category where the car is picked up will be subject to the rates and conditions of the local car hire company. No refund will be given for returning booked vehicles early or picking them up late (or not at all). Sunny Cars must be notified of any changes relevant to your vehicle booking (arrival time, flight number, pick-up method, pick-up location, etc.) as soon as possible. If we are not informed of any such changes at least twelve (12) hours prior to the confirmed pick-up time, or if you yourself come to collect the car earlier or later than agreed (i.e. more than one (1) hour either way), we will not be able to guarantee the timely alteration of the reservation, which may also affect the availability or timely issue of the hire car. If your flight number is not known, or if the stated flight number has changed and this information has not been passed on, then one (1) hour after the scheduled pick-up time the local hire agency shall be entitled to rent the car that was originally reserved to another party.
