Changes to Policy. Any changes to this policy will only be by written endorsement thereto issued by the insurer. Such endorsement must be signed by an authorised representative of the insurer.

If the Detention Center desires to modify any SOP or the County desires to modify the County Personnel Rules or Regulations, it shall first provide the Union with written notice of the proposed change. If the change impacts a term or condition of employment, the Union may request to meet and confer within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the written notice. If the Union requests to meet and confer, the Detention Center and/or the County Human Resources shall, prior to implementing the proposed change, schedule to meet with the Union in good faith at least once to discuss the proposed changes and the need for the changes.
