CHANGES DURING THE LIFE OF THE AGREEMENT. Any changes to provisions of this agreement which the Superintendent deems necessary to maximize the rapid improvement of academic achievement of Xxxxxxxx students may be implemented at the start of the next academic semester or sooner if by mutual agreement, following a 45 calendar day period of good faith negotiations with the union. Such changes however, may be implemented immediately following the negotiation period if unforeseen circumstances as determined by the Superintendent make immediate implementation appropriate. For any issue not covered by this agreement the Superintendent may implement changes after a 20 calendar day period of good faith negotiations. This article shall not be subject to arbitration.

If the Springfield School Committee deems it necessary to make changes to this Agreement in order to maximize the rapid improvement of academic achievement for Empowerment Zone Students, it may invoke the provisions of Chapter 69, Section 1J (g).

These changes may be implemented at the Receiver’s discretion, consist with GL 69, s. 1K.
CHANGES DURING THE LIFE OF THE AGREEMENT. If amendments are required by changes made in applicable laws, regulations or Executive Orders after the effective date of this AGREEMENT, the PARTIES will meet for the purpose of negotiating new language that will meet the requirements of such laws, regulations or Executive Orders. Such amendments as agreed to will be duly executed by the PARTIES, subject to approval by the Secretary of Defense, and shall be in force and effect on that date.

  • Entry into force and duration of the agreement 1. Each Contracting Party shall notify the other Contracting Party of the completion of internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of this Agreement. This Agreement shall enter into force on the date of the last of the two notifications.

  • Enforcement of the Agreement The parties hereto agree that irreparable damage would occur if any of the provisions of this Agreement were not performed in accordance with their specific terms or were otherwise breached. It is accordingly agreed that the parties shall be entitled to an injunction or injunctions to prevent breaches of this Agreement and to enforce specifically the terms and provisions hereto, this being in addition to any other remedy to which they are entitled at law or in equity.

  • EFFECTIVE DATE AND DURATION OF AGREEMENT Subject to ratification by the parties: This Agreement shall be effective from the 1st day of January, 2020 November, 2015 and shall be valid until the 31st day of December, 2024, and thereafter from year to year unless a written notice is given by either party within the period of four months immediately preceding the date of expiration of the term of the Collective Agreement, of their desire to terminate this Agreement or negotiate a revision thereof, in which case this Agreement shall remain in effect without prejudice to any retroactive clause of a new Agreement until negotiations for revision or amendments hereto have been concluded and a new Agreement superseding this Agreement has been duly executed.   • COMMENCEMENT AND DURATION OF AGREEMENT 9. This Agreement shall commence on the [insert date] and shall remain in force for [2] years (“Initial Contract Period”).

  • Termination of the Agreement In the event of failure by the participant to perform any of the obligations arising from the agreement, and regardless of the consequences provided for under the applicable law, the institution is legally entitled to terminate or cancel the agreement without any further legal formality where no action is taken by the participant within one month of receiving notification by registered letter. If the participant terminates the agreement before its agreement ends or if he/she fails to follow the agreement in accordance with the rules, he/she shall have to refund the amount of the grant already paid, except if agreed differently with the sending organisation.   • ENDING THE AGREEMENT a) If you are a consumer, we will end this agreement immediately if we find out that your belongings have been taken away from you to pay off your debts, or a receiving order has been made against you.   • Duration of the Agreement This Agreement shall come into effect on the day and year stated in Box 4 and shall continue until the date stated in Box 17. Thereafter it shall continue until terminated by either party giving to the other notice in writing, in which event the Agreement shall terminate upon the expiration of a period of two months from the date upon which such notice was given.

  • Assignment of the Agreement This Agreement and the rights hereunder may be assigned by FirstLink to any majority-owned subsidiary of FirstLink or to an affiliate or party acquiring all or substantially all of the assets of FirstLink upon prior written consent of Owner. Such consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. Alternatively, the Agreement may be assigned by FirstLink to any FirstLink subsidiary so long as FirstLink agrees in writing that it shall remain liable for all obligations arising under this Agreement. FirstLink may also assign this Agreement to any party providing financing to FirstLink; provided that such assignment shall not relieve FirstLink from its obligations hereunder. In connection with a sale or disposition of the Properties, Owner shall request FirstLink's written consent to assign this Agreement and shall require any subsequent owner of the Properties to assume this Agreement and the rights and obligations hereunder. Subject to the foregoing, this Agreement shall be binding upon and shall inure to the benefit of the successors and assigns of the respective parties to this Agreement.
