Change in Job Assignment a. The Employer retains the right and discretion to change an employee’s job assignment within the employee’s bid shift/days off. However, employees may not be removed from bid fixed posts within their shift, except for valid cause. If an employee is so removed, the employee may request review following the chain of command (i.e. shift lieutenant, captain, security manager and assistant superintendent). If the matter is not resolved, the employee may refer the matter to the Labor/Management Resolution Committee.

Change in Job Assignment. In the event that the District assigns an employee to perform services regularly performed by an employee with a classification having a higher rate of pay, the assigned employee shall be paid at the higher rate of pay. In the event an employee is involuntarily transferred to a lower paying position, the employee will maintain the same salary placement.
Change in Job Assignment. Any employee assigned to other than his or her regular work, shall be paid at the rate of such other assignment. CLASSIFICATION OF EMPLOYEES: This Agreement applies to employees as specifically classi­ fied herein. It does not apply to owners who do their own work; to clerical office help, drivers and helpers, outside sales force, col­ lectors, maintenance men, foremen and other employees of executive rating who do not regularly handle the classified work as specified herein.
Change in Job Assignment. Any employee who is promoted or assigned to a new job classification shall serve a four-month probationary assignment in such new classification. During such four-month period, the employee may be returned to his/her previous position without recourse to the grievance procedure or any other claim of a violation hereof. For benefit purposes, an employee who has transferred to a new position and has not completed probation in their prior position will be given credit for time worked in a benefit eligible position from the most recent hire date.

  • ASSIGNMENT AND CHANGE OF CONTROL a. Seller shall not and shall cause its affiliates not to, directly, indirectly, voluntarily or involuntarily, in each case, whether by transfer, operation of law, Change of Control (as defined in subparagraph b below) or otherwise assign this Contract, assign any of its rights or interest in this Contract, delegate any of its obligations under this Contract, or subcontract for all or substantially all of its performance of this Contract (each, an “Assignment”), without Buyer’s prior written consent after advance written notice by Seller.   • Change of Assignment Mutual consent for a change in work year assignment must be reached by March 15 for the following academic year.

  • Shift Assignment Should the University elect to establish a shift on any other schedule than the regular day shift (Monday through Friday) or to assign employees to work on any such shift, the employee(s) with the most seniority in the classification affected or to be assigned on such shift shall have preference in moving to such shift. If an insufficient number of employees in the classification elect to move to such shift, then the employee(s) with the least seniority in the classification shall be assigned to such shift. If positions or shifts are reduced or eliminated or movement of personnel to other shifts is required, then the seniority of the affected employee will prevail in the selection of shift, provided the affected employee can do the required work. Such shift preference is only applicable within the employee's classification.

  • Change of Control; Assignment and Subcontracting Except as set forth in this Section 7.5, neither party may assign any of its rights and obligations under this Agreement without the prior written approval of the other party, which approval will not be unreasonably withheld.
