Ceramic Tile. Ceramic tile and tile backing shall be installed in such a manner that the tile does not detach. This Performance Standard addresses the installation of ceramic tile and tile backing so that the tile does not detach. With proper use and proper maintenance, you should expect good performance consistent with this standard. See the discussion above of Performance Standards 17 and 18. Should tile become loose and pull away from its application as a result of original installation, Homebuilder will re-attach the individual tile or tiles. Ceramic Tile. All restrooms will receive 1" x 1" unglazed floor tile by Dal-Tile approximately 660 sq. ft.
