Central Collective Agreement. (i) Article G .01 (4) of the Local Collective Agreement shall not apply to Extended Tours except for the following situation. Where part-time nurses who do not normally work extended tours but accept extended tours as additional shifts, G.01 (4) shall apply. Specifically for change of tours in this situation, premium pay shall apply at the rate of one and one-half (11/2) the nurses regular straight rate if less than two (2) consecutive normal shifts is scheduled off between change of tours.
Central Collective Agreement. In the event that one member of the job sharing arrangement goes on any of the above leaves of absence, the coverage will be negotiated with the Coordinator, but it is hoped that the remaining member of the position would be prepared to cover the leave of absence as much as possible.
Central Collective Agreement. J.14 A nurse who elects to transfer to another area will not be entitled to use her seniority to displace nurses whose vacation has already been approved.

It is agreed that the Hospital may exercise any of the rights, powers and functions or authorities which the Hospital had prior to the signing of this Agreement, except those rights, powers, functions or authority, which are specifically abridged or modified by this Agreement and these rights shall not be exercised in a manner inconsistent with the provisions of this Agreement.
