CDC Project Description a. Approach Bold indicates period of performance outcome. The Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Capabilities: National Standards for State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial Public Health describes 15 capability standards for PHEP recipients to strengthen during the 2019-2024 performance period. The capability standards inform the PHEP logic model, which is a high-level description of the PHEP program’s general approach that displays “if-then” relationships between the program’s strategies, activities, and outcomes. The logic model also highlights priority strategies and activities, provides examples of consequent outputs, and characterizes the intended outcomes that will result from building jurisdictional capabilities. As reflected in the logic model, PHEP recipients are expected to show measurable progress toward achieving the short-term and long-term outcomes during this five-year performance period. CDC will use its Operational Readiness Review (XXX) evaluation process to measure PHEP recipient progress in achieving desired outcomes. Subject to the availability of funding, CDC may introduce future projects that support advanced development of key public health preparedness capabilities in high population cities during the 2019-2024 performance period. This future project may support high population cities with identifying gaps and strengthening chemical and radiological preparedness.

The goal of this NOFO is to reduce morbidity and mortality caused by TB by: • Preventing transmission of M. tuberculosis from persons with infectious disease to uninfected persons, • Preventing persons from progressing from latent TB infection (LTBI) to TB disease, and • Strengthening laboratory capacity to ensure that timely and reliable TB laboratory services are available.   • Task Description This task includes activities associated with permit-required monitoring conducted in accordance with the conditions specified by state or federal regulatory agencies. All monitoring tasks must be located within or adjacent to the Project area and follow the Department’s Regional Coastal Monitoring Program and FWC's marine turtle and shorebird monitoring programs. Guidance for monitoring of nearshore resources is available in the Department's Standard Operation Procedures For Nearshore Hardbottom Monitoring Of Beach Nourishment Projects. The Local Sponsor must submit work products directly to the appropriate state or federal regulatory agencies in accordance with permit conditions to be eligible for reimbursement under this task, unless otherwise directed.

  • Property Description A document prepared as an exhibit for the conveyance of a property interest, reflecting a boundary survey, signed and sealed by a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS), attached to an acquisition deed as Exhibit A, and consists of the following two (2) parts:

  • Construction Progress Schedule; Overall Project Schedule The Contractor shall submit for review by the Design Professional and approval by the Owner a Construction Progress Schedule based upon the Design Professional’s Preliminary Design and Construction Schedule and prepared using a CPM (Critical Path Method) process within sixty days after the Effective Date of the Contract, utilizing a full-featured software package in a form satisfactory to the Design Professional and Owner, showing the dates for commencement and completion of the Work required by the Contract Documents, including coordination of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical disciplines, as well as coordination of the various subdivisions of the Work within the Contract. Milestones must be clearly indicated and sequentially organized to identify the critical path of the Project. The Construction Schedule will be developed to represent the CSI specification divisions. It shall have the minimum number of activities required to adequately represent to the Owner the complete scope of Work and define the Project’s (and each Phase’s if phased) critical path and associated activities. The format of the Construction Progress Schedule will have dependencies indicated on a monthly grid identifying milestone dates such as construction start, phase construction, structural top out, dry-in, rough-in completion, metal stud and drywall completion, equipment installation, systems operational, inspections for Material Completion and Occupancy Date, and Final Completion Date.   • Project Summary The main objective of the LIFE GAIA Sense project is to demonstrate Gaiasense, an innovative “Smart Farming” (SF) solution that aims at reducing the consumption of natural resources, as a way to protect the environment and support Circular Economy (CE) models. More specifically, this project will launch 18 demonstrators across Greece, Spain and Portugal covering 9 crops (olives, peaches, cotton, pistachio, potatoes, table tomatoes, industrial tomatoes, grapes, kiwi) in various terrain and microclimatic conditions. They will demonstrate an innovative method, based on high-end technology, which is suitable for being replicated and will be accessible and affordable to Farmers either as individuals or collectively through Agricultural Cooperatives. Moreover, LIFE GAIA Sense aims to promote resource efficiency practices in SMEs of the agricultural sector and eventually, contribute to the implementation of the Roadmap to a Resource Efficient Europe. This project will demonstrate a method on how the farmer will be able to decide either to use or avoid inputs (irrigation, fertilizers, pesticides etc.) in a most efficient way, without risking the annual production. The focus is on the resource consumption reduction side of CE, and the results will be both qualitatively and quantitatively, considering the resources’ efficiency in agricultural sector.
