Common use of Catastrophic Events Clause in Contracts

Catastrophic Events. In the event that the Unit or the Premises or both are damaged by fire casualty or catastrophic damage or in the event that the Unit is affected by environmental issues and, in Owner's opinion, the Unit is either not habitable or that the maintenance and repair of the Exclusive Space or Unit Common Area will render them uninhabitable, the Owner may, in the Owner's sole discretion, terminate this Lease upon giving notice to Resident. In the event of such termination, Resident shall vacate the Exclusive Space and Unit Common Area and remove all of Resident's personal belongings from the Exclusive Space and Unit Common Area and Rent will be prorated accordingly through the termination date.
