Casual Relief Teachers. (a) A Casual Relief Teacher is a Casual Employee appointed on an ad hoc basis for up to and including 30 consecutive school days in the one school. A Casual Relief Teacher must be a registered Teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.

Casual Relief Teachers. A Casual Relief Teacher shall be paid a loading of 25% (as provided for in clause 11.3) in lieu of the following benefits:
Casual Relief Teachers. The Institute will contact the employer of any casual relief teacher employed in the State Education Sector if a complaint is made against that teacher. The Institute will advise the employer to contact the Department if there is a complaint against a casual relief teacher.

  • Education of Students with Disabilities 3.5.1. The DOE is the State of Hawaii's “state education agency” (SEA) and “local education agency” (LEA) for purposes of compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). All public schools, including charter schools, are part of and fall under the LEA. As such, the School shall comply with all applicable federal and State laws, rules, policies, procedures, and directives regarding the education of students with disabilities, including but not limited to Ch. 8-60, Hawaii Administrative Rules (HAR).

  • Employment Relations Education Leave ‌ The Employer shall grant leave on pay for employees party to this MECA to attend courses authorised by NZNO to facilitate the employee’s education and training as employee representatives in the workplace. The numbers of days education leave granted is based on the formula of 35 days per annum for the first 280 full time equivalent employees (employees covered by this MECA who have authorised the NZNO to act on their behalf) and a further five days per annum for every 100 full time equivalent employees thereafter.   • Termination for Catastrophe In event of Catastrophic Damage, this contract may be modified un- der B8.32, following rate redetermination under B3.32, or terminated under this Subsection. Such termination shall not be considered a termination under B8.34.

  • Education Leave (a) If required by the Employer, an employee shall be entitled to leave of absence with pay and without loss of seniority and benefits to write examinations to upgrade his or her employment qualifications.

  • Catastrophic Leave Program Leave credits, as defined below, may be transferred from one or more employees to another employee, on an hour-for-hour basis, in accordance with departmental policies upon the request of both the receiving employee and the transferring employee and upon approval of the employee's appointing authority, under the following conditions:

  • State Employee Group Insurance Program (SEGIP) During the life of this Agreement, the Employer agrees to offer a Group Insurance Program that includes health, dental, life, and disability coverages equivalent to existing coverages, subject to the provisions of this Article. All insurance eligible employees will be provided with a Summary Plan Description (SPD) called “Your Employee Benefits”. Such SPD shall be provided no less than biennially and prior to the beginning of the insurance year. New insurance eligible employees shall receive a SPD within thirty (30) days of their date of eligibility.
