Casual Relief Employees. Where the term "casual relief employee is used herein, the shall apply only to those employees in the bargaining unit who are paid on an hourly basis who are requested to work from time to time as required by the Employer. These employees may be also scheduled in advance to work, however, the Employer reserves the right to change or cancel an employee's scheduled shift.
Casual Relief Employees. 8.3.1 A casual employee is an employee specifically engaged as such and who is paid a short term engagement loading of 20% for each day of duty and each day of leave that they have earned.
Casual Relief Employees. Where the employer specifically engages an employee as a casual/relief employee, such employee will be entitled to an 11.7% loading on all salary earned for the period they are engaged as such. This loading will be payable as part of the normal pay cycle. Xxxxxx earned will include any payment for leave taken by the employee during the period of employment. The parties agree that in the context of this Agreement with respect to casual/reliefs, the leave entitlements in clause 12.1, together with the casual loading contained in this clause provide a more favourable outcome than that required by any legislation or regulation.
Casual Relief Employees. Casual Relief employees will receive, based on their seniority as calculated under Article 12, a percentage of gross annual salary, equivalent to the accrual of vacation, under Article 18.03. Such percentage in lieu of vacation pay shall be included with each pay.
Casual Relief Employees. Where the employer specifically engages an employee as a casual/relief employee, such employee will, if their employment is terminated (other than through summary dismissal) at any time prior to the expiration of a period of fifteen months continuous service from the date of such engagement, be paid upon termination the sum of 10% of the salary earned during such period of employment. Xxxxxx earned will include any payment for leave taken by the employee during the period of employment, but will not include any payment in lieu of leave on termination of employment.

  • Relief Employees Relief or part-time employees shall be paid the same hourly rate as full-time employees in the same occupational classification.

  • DNR Employees An employee of the Department of Natural Resources may meet the basic eligibility requirement for participation in the Group Insurance Program based on a combination of seasonal and temporary project employment. Eligibility commences after completion of three (3) years of continuous service in which the basic eligibility requirements are met; continues until the employee completes a year in which the basic eligibility requirements are not met; and commences again after the employee meets or is anticipated to meet the basic eligibility requirements in one (1) year.

  • Rehired Employees Amounts forfeited upon termination of employment because of the failure to meet the applicable vesting requirements shall not be reinstated or re-credited if an individual is subsequently rehired or re-employed by the School Corporation. However, if the Board shall have approved a leave of absence of not more than one (1) fiscal year for an employee, such period of leave shall not result in forfeiture provided the employee shall promptly return to employment following the expiration of the period of the leave.
