Common use of Casual Conversion Clause in Contracts

Casual Conversion. (i) A casual employee, other than an irregular casual employee, who has been engaged regularly and received consistent engagement under this Agreement for a period of twelve (12) months, will have the right to elect to have their contract of employment converted to full-time or part-time employment, that is most aligned to the pattern of their engagements over the preceding twelve (12) months.

Casual Conversion. (ia) A casual employee, other than an irregular casual employee, who has been engaged regularly and received consistent engagement by the Company for a sequence of periods of employment under this Agreement for a period of twelve (12) months, will have greater than six months has the right to elect request, and subject to the terms of this clause the Company must offer, to have their his or her contract of employment converted to permanent employment (full-time or part-time employment, that time) employment if the employment is most aligned to continue beyond the pattern of their engagements over the preceding twelve (12) monthsconversion process.
