Cash Shortages & Overages. Any employee handling cash coming within the scope of this Agreement shall not be required to make up any shortages in their daily cash balances. It is further agreed that such employees shall not receive any benefits from any cash overage. Departments shall, however, maintain a record of each employee’s overage and shortages and based on such results shall take whatever action is deemed appropriate by the Foundation.

  • Cash Shortages No employee may be required to make up cash register shortages unless he or she is given the privilege of checking the money and daily receipts upon starting and completing the work shift, and unless the employee has exclusive access to the cash register during the work shift and unless cash is balanced daily, except as specified below. No employee may be required to make up register shortages when Management exercises the right to open the register during the employee's work shift, unless the register is opened in the presence of the employee and the employee is given the opportunity to verify all withdrawals and/or deposits. No employee shall be held responsible for cash shortages unless he or she has exclusive access to his or her cash.

  • Longer/Shorter Length of Coverage If none of the above rules determine the order of benefits, the benefits of the plan that covered a member or subscriber longer are determined before those of the plan that covered that person for the shorter term.

  • Surplus; Shortage and Deficiency of Funds In accordance with RESPA, if there is a surplus of Funds held in escrow, Xxxxxx will account to Borrower for such surplus. If Xxxxxxxx’s Periodic Payment is delinquent by more than 30 days, Xxxxxx may retain the surplus in the escrow account for the payment of the Escrow Items. If there is a shortage or deficiency of Funds held in escrow, Lender will notify Borrower and Borrower will pay to Lender the amount necessary to make up the shortage or deficiency in accordance with RESPA.   • STRIKES OR LOCK-OUTS During the term of this Collective Agreement the Union agrees that there shall be no strike and the Employer agrees that there shall be no lock-out. Subject to any Labour Relations Board (or any succeeding body) directives, if an employee employed under the terms of this Collective Agreement refuses in good conscience to cross a legal picket line, the employee shall be considered to be absent without pay, and it shall not be considered a violation of this Agreement nor shall it be grounds for disciplinary action.

  • Unusual Job Requirements of Short Duration ‌ The nature of health care is such that at times it may be necessary for an employee to perform work not normally required in his/her job for the safety, health or comfort of a client or resident. It is understood that an employee shall not be expected to perform a task for which he/she is not adequately trained.
