Career Development Program. The City shall fund the tuition reimbursement program $120,000.00 annually for all F.O.P. bargaining unit members collectively. Reimbursement requests from any F.O.P. member necessitating funding in excess of $120,000.00 annually may be denied or limited based upon available funding. Unused funding shall be reallocated annually as determined by the City.
Career Development Program. A. A career development program shall be funded at a cost not to exceed twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) for each contract year.
Career Development Program. 1. The District remains committed and shall continue the current Career Development Program as outlined in the District's Diversity Program, except that the three (3) hour maximum shall be increased to a maximum of five (5) hours per week (see Appendix U).
Career Development Program. The City and Refuse Unit representatives will continue to work toward the implementation of a formal career development program through the Joint Labor- Management Committee. The City shall formally explore career development in the Joint Labor-Management Committee including such things as rotating employees out of terminal positions with no loss in pay or future pay increases, providing a per diem skill pay, and using overtime premium savings to offset the career development program. It is understood that if the unit goes to a holiday in- lieu schedule, any savings there from would be earmarked to the two different tiered groups respectively. Any change must be by mutual agreement.
Career Development Program. The City and the Union recognize the importance of continuing education in providing equitable employment opportunities, employee growth and agree to a mutual commitment of education for employees in this bargaining unit. In accordance with Section 106.901 of the Ordinance Code, the City may establish a Career Development Program. The City may reimburse employees for eligible tuition expenses in order to enhance the quality of the existing workforce, attract and retain qualified candidates for City employment, and to ensure that City employees have access to education that will equip them to do the work that will be needed during their careers with the City of Jacksonville. Reimbursement will be in accordance with established policies and procedures which will cover, among other things, time limits for submission of requests, eligible coursework, and required documentation. This program is dependent upon funding.
Career Development Program. The San Xxxxxx Fire Chief Officers’ Association agrees to the Career Development Guidelines as written.
Career Development Program. The purpose of this program is to award those represented by the Fire Union in recognition of achievement of education, training and experience. This program is to raise the level of education and competence in Fire service personnel.
Career Development Program. The San Xxxxxx Firefighters Association agrees to conform to the Career Development Guidelines regarding Engineer Certification (Policy 1-V-10) and Firefighter (Policy 1-V-9) as revised 11-18-03 and 9-23-08 respectively, and said policy is hereby incorporated by reference.
Career Development Program. The Board shall annually allocate one hundred and sixty dollars ($160.00) per full-time equivalent employee, and the employee shall annually contribute forty dollars ($40.00) on a pro-rata basis, to a Career Development Fund, exclusively for the use of the members of the bargaining unit. Records pertaining to the fund shall be maintained by the Board and forwarded to the Union quarterly.
