Care and Preservation. A. The College will give loaned property left in its custody the same care provided to similar property of its own. It is understood that all property is subject to inherent deterioration for which neither party is responsible.

Care and Preservation. The Museum will give objects left in its custody the same care provided to similar property of its own. Evidence of damage to objects at the time of receipt or while in the Museum’s custody will be reported immediately to the Lender. No alteration, restoration, or repair to objects will be undertaken without the written authorization of the Lender. The Lender certifies that the objects to be loaned are in good condition and will withstand ordinary strains of installation, packing, and transportation.

Care and Preservation. The Borrower agrees to the proper care of all borrowed items to protect them from loss, damage, deterioration or negligence. The Borrower agrees to maintain all items in the condition in which they are received. They shall not be unframed, altered or repaired in any manner unless written permission of the Owner is received or when the safety of the item makes such action imperative. The Borrower agrees to check that all the listed items are present on receiving and shipping the collection and will contact the Heritage Appointee concerning any change in item(s) condition.
