Common use of Capabilities Clause in Contracts

Capabilities. For purposes of this Agreement, (x) "Year 2000 Capabilities" means the ability to: (i) manage and manipulate data involving dates, including single century formulas and multi-century formulas, in a manner that will not cause an abnormally ending scenario or generate incorrect values or invalid results involving such dates; (ii) include the indication of proper century dates in all date-related user interface functions and date fields; and (iii) operate with proper century dates in date-related software or hardware interface functions; and (y) "Date Data" means any existing data or input of date which includes an indication of or reference to date.
