Cancellation of Service. You have the right to cancel this Agreement with NEC Co-op Energy without penalty or fee of any kind within three (3) federal business days after you receive your Terms of Service Agreement. NEC Co-op Energy will provide you with 45 calendar days advance written notice of any material change in the Terms of Service, either in your bill or in a separate mailing. The changes will become effective on the date stated in the notice unless you cancel your Agreement. You may cancel your Agreement no later than 10 calendar days before the effective date of the material change. In the event of cancellation, if you request a specific date to switch your service other than your next meter read date, you may incur a cost for this switch. Service Protections: NEC Co-op Energy will not terminate a customer's service for (1) delinquency of payment by a previous occupant, (2) failure to pay charges not related to electric service, (3) failure to pay for a different class of electric service, (4) failure to pay an under billing, other than for theft of service, more than 6 months old, (5) failure to pay for a disputed charge until a determination as to the accuracy is made,

Cancellation of Service. You may cancel your agreement with Just Energy without any penalty or fee if: • You request cancellation within 3 federal business days after you have signed the Application for Service and received your Terms of Service; • You move to another premise and no longer have responsibility for electric service at the premise where service was being provided; • Market conditions change and the agreement allows Just Energy to terminate the agreement without penalty in response to such changes; or • You receive a notice from Just Energy of a material change in the context of this Agreement and you notify Just Energy of your request for cancellation within 14 days of the date the notice is sent to you. Notice will not be issued for material changes that benefit you or changes that are mandated by a regulatory agency. If you request cancellation for a reason other than those listed above, exit fees will apply. Nor will we terminate for non-payment if you inform the Affiliated retail electric provider (REP) or the POLR, prior to the disconnection date stated on the notice of termination, that you or another resident on the premises has a critical need for electrical service. However, to obtain this exemption, you must enter into a deferred payment plan with the Affiliated REP or the POLR and have the ill- person's attending physician contact the Affiliated REP or the POLR and submit a written statement attesting to the necessity of electric service to support life. This exemption from disconnection due to illness or disability shall be in effect for 63 days and may be applied for again after the 63 days has expired and the deferred payment plan has been fulfilled. No REP will abandon a customer without advance written notice, or when an energy assistance provider is forwarding payment for a delinquent account. Cancellation of Service. There is no fee for cancellation of the eStatement Service. When you cancel the Service, you will automatically begin receiving paper statements in the mail with your next account statement cycle. Fees may be imposed for the mailing of your paper statements in accordance with the Account Agreement fee schedule. If you close your Account(s) or cancel the Online Banking Service, you will no longer be able to view your Account statements online. Before cancelling the eStatement Service or closing your Account, print or electronically save copies of your eStatements for your records. Cancelling the eStatement Service will have no effect on your consent to receive other notices, disclosures and communications regarding any other Online Banking Services electronically.

Cancellation of Service. In the event that proceeds are paid to Provider prior to the delivery of Service in its entirety by Provider to Client and the Service is cancelled before delivery for any reason, Provider shall promptly refund to UMC the advanced amount of the monies received from UMC or Lender within three (3) days of such cancellation. Provider shall not charge UMC, Lender or Client any fee in any form for any such cancellation out of the advanced amount of the financed proceeds. Failure to comply with this provision shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement. The term “advanced amount” means the amount paid to the Provider by UMC.
