Common use of Cancellation and Destruction Clause in Contracts

Cancellation and Destruction. All Notes shall forthwith after payment thereof be delivered to the Trustee and cancelled by it. All Notes cancelled or required to be cancelled under this or any other provision of this Indenture shall be destroyed by the Trustee and, if required by the Corporation, the Trustee shall furnish to it a destruction certificate setting out the designating numbers of the Notes so destroyed.

Cancellation and Destruction. All Notes shall forthwith after payment in full thereof be delivered to the Trustee and cancelled or to a Person appointed by it. All Notes cancelled it or required to be cancelled under this or any other provision of this Indenture shall be destroyed by the Corporation with the approval of the Trustee and, if required by and cancelled. The Trustee shall prepare and retain a certificate of such cancellation and upon the Written Request of the Corporation deliver a duplicate thereof to the Corporation, the Trustee shall furnish to it a destruction certificate setting out the designating numbers of the Notes so destroyed.
