Callout Time. An employee reporting for work on the call of the Employer shall be paid his/her regular rate of pay for the entire period spent at the place of work in response to the call with a minimum of four (4) hours in any one day except where his/her work is suspended because of inclement weather or other reasons completely beyond the control of the Employer and except where the employee’s condition is such that he is not competent to perform his/her duties or has failed to comply with the Accident Prevention Regulations of WorkSafe BC.
Callout Time. Employees who report for special duty at the Company’s request on a scheduled day off shall be paid at the rate applicable to such work time for a minimum of two hours except that this minimum shall not apply if the special time worked on such duty immediately precedes regular scheduled tours.
Callout Time. 10.01 Where an Employee is called out for work and no work is performed, he shall be paid four (4) hours pay, excepting that where the work is suspended due to inclement weather before any work is performed, he shall be paid two (2) hours pay and provided, however, that the Employee has reported to the job site in person, in a competent condition to carry out his duties and providing adequate notice has not been given not to report for work. Adequate notice shall be construed as follows: Where there is no camp, two (2) hours' notice prior to starting time shall be given by telephone or pre-arranged radio broadcast; where camps are maintained, one (1) hours' notice prior to starting time shall be given.

Callout Time. 16.1 Callout will be on a voluntary basis. Callout time is time worked during an unforeseen condition in which the employee is called from home and which does not necessitate a change in work schedule. Callout procedures will be established and maintained for groups subject to callout, where necessary. Rotational seniority will be the primary basis for the established procedures. Special consideration will be given to callout necessitated by storms or other disasters beyond the Company's control.

  • Part-Time An employee who is employed less than thirty (30) hours per week.

  • Prep Time ‌ Each teacher shall be provided daily with a minimum of an uninterrupted sixty (60) minute preparation period, except that an emergency, as determined by the Appointing Authority, within an institution may temporarily necessitate other assignments. During prep time, teachers must be allowed full access to their class room or designated workspace without disruption. Part-time teachers shall receive a pro-rated preparation period based on ten (10) minutes for each class period taught, with a minimum of thirty (30) minutes per day.

  • Contract Time The period of time established for completion of the Project by the Contract Documents. Contract Time commences upon the date specified in the Proceed Order and ends upon the Material Completion and Occupancy Date, as it may be amended.

  • Court Time An employee who is called to appear as a witness in his/her official capacity by a court, including administrative court, on a scheduled day off, a scheduled vacation day or other approved day off shall be paid for the hours so spent, including actual, necessary travel time, at his/her regular hourly rate. This hourly rate shall include the non-standard premium for those employees designated as non-standard. Payment under this Article shall be the total payment for such court time from all sources other than regular pay for the scheduled day off. An employee who is assigned a State vehicle shall be entitled to use such vehicle on such occasions.

  • Comp Time In lieu of payment for overtime hours worked, the employee may request to take compensatory time off. Approval shall be at the discretion of the Department Head. If the request is approved by the Department Head, one and one-half (1 2) hours of compensatory time shall be credited for each overtime hour worked. A maximum accrual of compensatory time shall be forty (40) hours. Flex Time. The County recognizes and supports the concept of Flex time. Flex time is allowed within the work week as it is defined in Article 20, Section 2 of this contract. If an employee requests, an employee and their department head may agree to allow an employee to flex their schedule. However, in some departments and under some circumstances flex time may not be feasible and will not be permitted. No employee shall be required to take flex time off in order to avoid the payment of overtime or as a condition of continued employment.

  • Crib Time 17.6.1 An employee working overtime shall be allowed a crib time of 20 minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of overtime worked provided the employee continues working after such crib time.

  • Project Time As defined herein, this is the time within which the Contractor shall complete all Work contracted for under this Contract as indicated in a fully authorized Service Work Order pursuant to the Service Work Order Process provision set forth in this Contract.
