Callout Roster. 25.2.1 Inclusion on the after hours callout roster is voluntary and employees, whilst a member of this roster, will be paid in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in this clause.
Callout Roster. It is agreed by both parties to negotiate or discuss during the life of this agreement for a call out roster/procedure to be incorporated as a variation to this agreement or as a new certified agreement for implementation during this or future agreements.
Callout Roster. All employees in receipt of an overtime bank will be required to take part in a call-out roster. These rosters will be developed and maintained by the work group. The roster will contain one employee to be available at all times. All coverage of plant vacancies will be organised by the employees. The roster system will be reviewed by the Joint Consultative Committee to enable a standardised system to be used. Other work groups not in receipt of an overtime bank, will occasionally have the opportunity to work overtime, in the form of a callout, that may arise due to breakdowns or plant activities.
Callout Roster. 16.1 The company currently operates a roster for the purposes of after hours call out’s. Employees will receive a $100 per week allowance for each week they are rostered for call-outs. If any callouts are not actioned by the technician the allowance will not be paid unless the technician can demonstrate a valid reason as to why the call was not actioned, or why the call was not passed to the employee next in line for the callout roster.
Callout Roster. Callouts are agreed to be an important part of our business and all employees agree to participate in the roster system. Employees will be rostered in teams to be ‘on call’ for a period of one week, during which time they are expected to respond to any and all requests for after hours work. They will be paid the amount of $50 per week while on call. Team Leaders will be paid an amount of $75 per week when on call to answer the telephone, qualify the call, and allocate calls to the team members or respond or resolve calls for sale, hire or administration. Fatigue and Safety of our technicians is of high concern and subsequently we will continue to comply with the minimum rest period as outlined in the award.

  • Callout The following provisions shall apply to Regular Full-Time Employees and Temporary Full-Time Employees:

  • Shift Rotation Routine shift rotation is not an approach to staffing endorsed by the Employer. Except for emergency situations where it may be necessary to provide safe patient care, shift rotation will not be utilized without mutual consent. If such an occasion should ever occur, volunteers will be sought first. If no one volunteers, the Employer will rotate shifts on an inverse seniority basis until the staff vacancies are filled.

  • New Employee Orientation The Union will provide each agency personnel director with the names and addresses of up to two (2) authorized Union representatives per agency to receive notice of each formal orientation meeting held by the Department. The notice will be sent as soon as such meetings are scheduled (but not less than ten (10) days in advance) and will include date, time and location. Due to operational exigencies, agencies may schedule an orientation which will provide the Union with less than the requisite ten (10) days' notice; however the Union shall be notified as soon as possible after the scheduling of the orientation and the Union representative shall be released from duty. Agencies shall routinely schedule orientations in a manner that will allow for the ten (10) day advance notice to the Union. During the formal orientation, the Union will be permitted to give a twenty (20) minute presentation which may include an enrollment in supplemental Union benefits. The parties shall encourage employee attendance, although attendance shall not be mandatory if an employee objects to attending the presentation. In the event a formal orientation meeting is not held, or the Union is unable to attend the formal orientation because the designated Union representatives cannot be released under Article 4, the Employer shall allow the Union representative and the employee(s) to meet during duty hours at a mutually agreed upon time and location for twenty (20) minutes Employee participation in these meetings shall be encouraged although an employee shall not be required to attend such a meeting.

  • Optional Mediation The Parties may mutually agree to non-binding mediation:

  • Problem Solving Employees and supervisors are encouraged to attempt to resolve on an informal basis, at the earliest opportunity, a problem that could lead to a grievance. If the matter is not resolved by informal discussion, or a problem-solving meeting does not occur, it may be settled in accordance with the grievance procedure. Unless mutually agreed between the Employer and the Union problem-solving discussions shall not extend the deadlines for filing a grievance. The Union Xxxxxxx or in their absence, the Local Union President, or Area Xxxxxxx, or Chief Xxxxxxx, either with the employee or alone, shall present to the appropriate supervisor a written request for a meeting. If the supervisor agrees to a problem- solving meeting, this meeting shall be held within fourteen (14) calendar days of receipt of the request. The supervisor, employee, Union Xxxxxxx, and up to one (1) other management person shall attempt to resolve the problem through direct and forthright communication. If another member of management is present that person will not be hearing the grievance at Step Two, should it progress to that Step. The employee, the Union Xxxxxxx or in their absence, the Local Union President, or Area Xxxxxxx, or Chief Xxxxxxx, may participate in problem-solving activities on paid time, in accordance with Article 31, Union Rights, Section 1H.

  • New Member Orientation The Employer will notify the Union of any newly represented temporary employees. The Union will be given the opportunity to have a Union representative speak with the newly represented temporary employees for not more than thirty (30) minutes to provide information about the Union and this Agreement.

  • Progressive Discipline The Employer will follow the principles of progressive discipline. Disciplinary action shall be commensurate with the offense. Disciplinary action shall include:
