Callback Pay Rate. An employee who is called in to work outside his/her normal working hours shall be paid a minimum of three hours at the applicable overtime rate. Transportation Expenses Not Payable An employee shall not receive any payment for transportation expenses where: he/she lives in hospital accommodation adjacent to the hospital or transportation is provided by the Employer. Transportation Expenses Payable Subject to(b) above, when an employee is recalled to work under the conditions described in (a) above, he/she shall be paid the of transportation to and from his/her place of work to a maximum of eight dollars and fifty cents or the appropriate for each callback. Callback Pay Rate. Each time a nurse on standby is 31 called to the Hospital, the nurse will be paid callback pay at the 32 applicable rate for the actual time worked, but in no event for less 33 than two (2) hours. Standby paywill continue during time worked 1 while on standby status. Callback pay will include evening, night 2 and weekend differentials. However, if with the exercise of reasonable diligence the act or omission being grieved was not discovered within 10 working days of its occurrence, and the grievance is subsequently timely filed pursuant to Section 3, then the resolution of the grievance may include provision for back pay for a maximum period of one year from the date the grievance was filed.
