CALL IN AND REPORTING PAY. 17.01 A nurse who is called in other than at the commencement of a regular shift or reports to work at the commencement of a regular shift for which she/he is scheduled, unless otherwise notified by the Centre, shall be provided four (4) hours’ work or a minimum of four (4) hours’ pay at the nurse’s regular rate of pay unless otherwise qualifying for overtime pay.
CALL IN AND REPORTING PAY. (a) Employees who report to work at the direction of the Employer, or his agents, and are not placed at work, shall be entitled to two (2) hours’ pay at the established rate, unless weather and other conditions are beyond the control of the Employer. The employer shall make a reasonable attempt, before the start of the shift, to notify employees of any work stoppage.

This paragraph shall apply when an employee is contacted away from the workplace for unscheduled emergency duty. An employee contacted away from the work place and who begins work within three (3) hours of a regular shift starting time shall receive the full three hours call-in pay at time-and-one-half. When an employee has arrived at the workplace for a regularly scheduled shift and is then assigned to begin work early, this paragraph does not apply. If the employee is assigned to begin work early also completes the regular schedule of work, then the employee will be paid for actual time worked before the start of the regular shift at time-and-one-half, or a one-half-hour minimum at time-and-one-half, whichever is greater.
CALL IN AND REPORTING PAY. An employee scheduled to report to work and who reports for work without having been previously notified of a change in scheduling is entitled to four (4) hours work with pay thereof or four (4) hours pay in lieu thereof if no work is available. If work is available, the employee must perform the work assigned. This section shall not apply if the employee was absent from work on the previous scheduled work day for the school, or if the unavailability of work is due to machinery breakdown, power failure, fire, extreme weather conditions, or some other cause beyond the control of the Board. Whenever an employee is called in for emergency work, she/he shall receive the rate applicable, or two (2) hours at her/his regular rate, whichever is higher.

CALL IN AND REPORTING PAY. 12.01 An employee who reports for work at the regular time and who has not previously been instructed not to so report to work, and is fit to work, shall be entitled to receive a full day’s work or wages at the regular rate in lieu thereof, unless such employee, of his own accord, fails to complete a full day’s work.
CALL IN AND REPORTING PAY. 12.1 Employees are required to report for work at their scheduled starting times. An employee must notify the on duty supervisor as far in advance as possible prior to his scheduled starting time if he is unable to report for work unless impossible to do so. An employee who reports to work and leaves prior to the scheduled stop time will be paid for all hours worked. The Company will provide a system for the employee to view time recorded for the workweek and to verify, certify, and submit their time sheet for the week. This system will display their time for the week and accrued vacation, personal, and sick leave.
