CABLE SPLICERS. Cable splicing work shall consist, of the following - “splicing pot head and termination of all circuits having a rating of 2300V and above which are lead covered and/or shielded.” Each cable splicer shall be assisted by a journeyman xxxxxxx when assistance is needed.

CABLE SPLICERS. Cable splicers shall be paid cable splicer pay whenever certified splicers are required. Journeymen only shall be used in assisting the cable splicer. Cable splicers shall not be required to work on wires or cables where the difference in potential is over 300 volts between any two conductors or between conductors and ground, unless assisted by another Journeyman. In no case shall cable splicers be requested to work on energized cables carrying in excess of 400 volts.
CABLE SPLICERS. A. All work of joining splicing and insulating, on power cable designed to carry in excess of 750 volts shall be performed by competent journeymen wiremen cable splicers.
CABLE SPLICERS. All joining and splicing and placing of flameproof covering on underground cables, pulling in and removing of cable, shall be under the jurisdiction of Journeymen Cable Splicers assisted by such Apprentices and Helpers as needed. Cable Splicers working on energized circuits shall be accompanied by another Journeyman (Cable Splicer or Lineman). Special crews in the underground department to which two (2) Cable Splicers are normally assigned shall be under the supervision of a Senior Cable Splicer. In any other event when a Journeyman Cable Splicer is performing the work described in the first paragraph of this Section and is assisted by one employee, a Journeyman Cable Splicer shall be temporarily upgraded to a Senior Cable Splicer while performing this work. If the employee so designated as Senior Cable Splicer continues to perform the duties of the higher classification continuously for four (4) hours or more, he/she shall receive the Senior Cable Splicer rate of pay for the total period of time so worked.

CABLE SPLICERS. These classifications not presently used Seniority will date from date of last entry to service in a position in the construction group. An employee laidoff shall retainseniority stand- ing for one year but if no service is performed during a twelve month period shall be considered as out of the service and dropped from the seniority list. This not to apply to employees on sick leave. Regular linemen who may be displaced by re- duction of staff or other cause shall have the right to any position in the construction forces to which their seniority entitles them.

  • Signaling Parameters All SS7 signaling parameters will be provided in conjunction with traffic exchange trunk groups, where and as available. These parameters include Automatic Number Identification ("ANI"), Calling Party Number ("CPN"), Privacy Indicator, calling party category information, originating line information, charge number, etc. Also included are all parameters relating to network signaling information, such as Carrier Information Parameter ("CIP"), wherever such information is needed for call routing or billing. GTE will provide SS7 via GR-394-SS7 and/or GR-317-SS7 format(s).

  • Data shared with Subcontractors If DSHS Data provided under this Contract is to be shared with a subcontractor, the Contract with the subcontractor must include all of the data security provisions within this Contract and within any amendments, attachments, or exhibits within this Contract. If the Contractor cannot protect the Data as articulated within this Contract, then the contract with the sub- Contractor must be submitted to the DSHS Contact specified for this contract for review and approval.

  • Copper Subloops Sprint will make available access to copper subloops on an unbundled basis. A copper subloop is a portion of a Copper Loop, or Hybrid Loop, and is comprised entirely of copper wire or copper cable that acts as a transmission facility between any accessible terminal in Sprint’s outside plant, including inside wire owned or controlled by Sprint, and the end-user customer premises. A copper subloop can also include intermediate devices, such as repeaters, used to establish the transmission path. Copper subloops can be used by CLEC to provide voice-grade services as well as digital subscriber line services. Access to copper subloops is subject to the collocation provisions of this Agreement. Copper subloop consists of the distribution portion of the copper loop. Sprint is not obligated to offer feeder loop plant as a stand-alone UNE.

  • Provisioning Line Splitting and Splitter Space 3.8.1 The Data LEC, Voice CLEC or BellSouth may provide the splitter. When EZ Phone or its authorized agent owns the splitter, Line Splitting requires the following: a non-designed analog Loop from the serving wire center to the NID at the End User’s location; a collocation cross connection connecting the Loop to the collocation space; a second collocation cross connection from the collocation space connected to a voice port; the high frequency spectrum line activation, and a splitter. The Loop and port cannot be a Loop and port combination (i.e. UNE-P), but must be individual stand-alone Network Elements. When BellSouth owns the splitter, Line Splitting requires the following: a non designed analog Loop from the serving wire center to the NID at the End User’s location with CFA and splitter port assignments, and a collocation cross connection from the collocation space connected to a voice port.

  • Alignment with Modernization Foundational Programs and Foundational Capabilities The activities and services that the LPHA has agreed to deliver under this Program Element align with Foundational Programs and Foundational Capabilities and the public health accountability metrics (if applicable), as follows (see Oregon’s Public Health Modernization Manual, (xxxx://xxx.xxxxxx.xxx/oha/PH/ABOUT/TASKFORCE/Documents/public_health_modernization_man ual.pdf):
