BYOD POLICY. Sunbury College aims to provide students with the opportunity for more personalised learning by having access to digital technology at school. With the privilege of using their own device at the college, comes the responsibility to use the technology in a manner that is in keeping with our core values. I understand that the following terms and conditions govern bringing my own device to the college:

BYOD POLICY. As a BYOD school, ICT is used as part of my learning. It is not to be used for personal social networking, streaming or downloading. ICT will only be used when directed by the teacher and will be used appropriately. • Devices will be charged so that I am ready to learn throughout the day. Chargers should be brought to school if the battery life means I am not ready to learn for the entire school day. • The school Microsoft 365 software on my device will be up-to-date and ready for learning. • If any technical issues arise, I will seek help from the technician promptly and at an appropriate time. • All my work will be saved properly and backed up on my school OneDrive. • I will use all personal and school accounts responsibly. • I will not share any assessment related work, whether in draft form or completed work with another student unless it is specified by the teacher as part of the assessment task, for example, group assessment. • I will not plagiarise or copy work from other students or any other sources. All work I use in my learning and assessments which is from another source will be cited. • I will follow the procedure of reporting offensive and inappropriate activities to my parents, Xxx xxxxxx/teacher or my Head of House immediately. • I agree the College reserves the right to check work or data at any time. • I am responsible for my device and need to ensure I follow good practices such as storing my device in a secure location when not in use and labelling my device, charger and bag/case. • I will comply with the current cellphone policy. Important terms used in this document o The abbreviation ‘ICT’ refers to the ‘Information and Communication Technologies’ o Cybersmart refers to the safe and positive use of the Internet and ICT equipment and devices, including phones. o School ICT refer to school’s network, internet, computers and other equipment/devices. o ICT equipment/devices includes, but is not limited to, computers, laptops, storage devices, cameras, mobile phones, printers, photocopiers, gaming consoles, video and audio devices, and any other, similar technology as they come into use. o Plagiarism refers to presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition. Plagiarism may be intentional or reckless, or unintentional.

  • Harassment Policy It is the policy of CUPE as an Employer to ensure that the working environment is conducive to the performance of work and is such that employees are not hindered from carrying out their responsibilities.   • Policy Because the volume of human genomic and phenotypic data maintained in these repositories is substantial and, in some instances, potentially sensitive (e.g., data related to the presence or risk of developing particular diseases or conditions and information regarding family relationships or ancestry), data must be shared in a manner consistent with the research participants’ informed consent, and the confidentiality of the data and the privacy of participants must be protected. Access to human genomic data will be provided to research investigators who, along with their institutions, have certified their agreement with the expectations and terms of access detailed below. NIH expects that, through Data Access Request (DAR) process, approved users of controlled-access datasets recognize any restrictions on data use established by the Submitting Institutions through the Institutional Certification, and as stated on the dbGaP study page. Definitions of the underlined terminology in this document are found in section 13. The parties to this Agreement include: the Principal Investigator (PI) requesting access to the genomic study dataset (an “Approved User”), the PI’s home institution (the “Requester”) as represented by the Institutional Signing Official designated through the eRA Commons system, and the NIH. The effective date of this Agreement shall be the DAR Approval Date, as specified in the notification of approval of the Data Access Committee (DAC).

In residence halls, persons under the age of 21 may not be in the presence of alcohol or alcoholic beverage containers. Students (including residents and non- residential students), and guests who are of legal drinking age (21 years of age or older) may possess and consume alcoholic beverages (referred herein “alcohol”) within NYU residence halls in accordance with the following:
